RACE TWO

SUPREME BANNER (6) made the most of a cheap run here 2 starts back when able to sprint home along the passing lane to score. Not suited last start when snagging back from the centre of the line to find position, he will find this an easier group of opponents and limiting the work can take this.

A ROCKNROLL LEGACY (1) did it the tough way last start when facing the breeze and fighting gamely to grab 3rd behind THE CRUSIE MISSILE. Well held at his previous 2 starts, he lands the gate to get the soft run in transit and gets his chance for victory here.

THATS FUNNY (2) is still in search of a maiden breaking win and from the alley with no 2nd line, will get to exploit the early options. Charging home to get within a head last start, he has claims.

WAVEDANCER (3) was heading into Sat night at here at AP with consecutive 2nd placed efforts, after claiming silver in both a heat and final of the Marburg to Albion series. He has rough claims in this.

SELECTIONS: SUPREME BANNER (6), A ROCKNROLL LEGACY (1), THATS FUNNY (2), WAVEDANCER (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

SEA HAWKE (2) will strip fitter following his return to start his 4YO term here on Oct 1 where the run was full of merit without much luck in transit. From inside the 2nd line he was bottled away and then held up when needing space yet finished well for 2nd. With the improved gate, he can bounce back.

THE CRUISE MISSILE (5) pressed on to find the front here last time when having just his 2nd Qld start after arriving from NZ and taking control made the most of conditions. Starting in red figures at both starts in the Sunshine State, he will need to be working at some point again here to go back-to-back.

MISS MIA (6) snagged back from gate 7 last time out over the mile and from back in the pack was closing out in the latter stages in nice style for the silver. The gate hurts again, but she can swoop.

BLUE SHARD (8) will be needing a slice of luck from the alley, but with the cosy trip on offer can look to chime in late. Only 1m from the winner last start, he will be probing the gaps.

SELECTIONS: SEA HAWKE (2), THE CRUISE MISSILE (5), MISS MIA (6), BLUE SHARD (8)
SUGGESTED BET: SEA HAWKE (2) to win

RACE FOUR

DIVAS DELIGHT (4)
has been kept fresh since his last appearance back on Sept 14 when settling in the pocket trail from inside the 2nd line. Angling to the passing lane after the cheap trip, he went within 2m of the winner CASINO TOMMY. With his best gate in some time he can look to capitalise.

CHANGE OF MIND (7) has no favours from the wide gate but should appreciate the return to the claiming ranks. He found them a but sharp last time out behind the in-form CLARRY but his run in the claimers 2 starts back from gate 6 when 3m in arrears of FIOKI keeps him in calculations here.

MAKE MINE JOE (2) will line up for the Jason Carkeet barn for the 1st time after just the 1 start in Qld. A beaten fav when 1st up from a freshen, he will take benefit from the hit-out and can feature.

RORY MACH (3) is never far from the action in these races and will find this more to his liking after finishing within 8m of CLARRY on Sat night. Only 4m from TENNYSON BROMAC 2 starts back, he won’t be far away.

SELECTIONS: DIVAS DELIGHT (4), CHANGE OF MIND (7), MAKE MINE JOE (2), RORY MACH (3)
SUGGESTED BET: DIVAS DELIGHT (4) to win

RACE FIVE

Making his Aust debut after arriving from the Shaky Isles, BETTATHANIDEAL (3) lies up here last start winner back in June as a 3YO when scoring over the 2200m at Ascot Park. Given 2 trials to prepare for his 1st local appearance, he faces a stern test against some proven performers at just his 5th career start.

IM NO OUTLAW (8) returned from a spell in fine style when finding the front over the 2138m from gate 4 and once in control holding on to score by 3m. Forced to do it tough when 2nd up, the effort told and saw him fade late when down the line behind DAPPER. With a soft trip, he can bounce back.

THE MONEY BALL (9) is in nice touch with 2 wins from his past 3 outings, the latest when finishing over the top from gate 10. If the heat is on throughout, look for him making a closing play.

SAINT KILDA BEACH (1) will take good benefit from her latest appearance when stepping out for her 1st run as a 4YO. Striking trouble, she did well to grab the bronze and with options is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: BETTATHANIDEAL (3), IM NO OUTLAW (8), THE MONEY BALL (9), SAINT KILDA BEACH (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

Racing well without much really going his way of late, NEWMERELLA SHARKIE (5) might just have found the right conditions here. Locked away against the poles last start, he needed space that didn’t arrive when 8m from TENNYSON BROMAC and was only 2m away from that same runner 3 back. This is within reach.

RUTHLESS ARMBRO (2) eased out of any early speed duel last time and was able to find the 1x1 trail from gate 4. With the closing 800m solid in front, he couldn’t reel them in as CARDLESFROMHEAVEN was able to score a tidy victory. Looking for the pegs would see him tough to crack in front.

IMA GRUMPY POSSUM (1) started from this same gate on Sat night in a mares only contest and soon found herself buried away. Settling 1 position closer this time, she can look for the lane.

BEAU CISHLOM (10) has placings in 2 of his past 3 starts and is racing well without factors really in his favour. 6m in arrears of COREY WILLIAM last start to claim the silver, he can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: NEWMERELLA SHARKIE (5), RUTHLESS ARMBRO (2), IMA GRUMPY POSSUM (1), BEAU CISHLOM (10)
SUGGESTED BET: NEWMERELLA SHARKIE (5) to win

RACE SEVEN

GUNRNEEDABIGRBOAT (10) has been freshened since his latest outing when proving too smart out in front in a career PB 1.53.3 mile. After putting the writing on the wall that a win was around the corner, he completed a hat-trick of victories last start. The gate is a stinger but he is in the zone.

SECRETAGENT TYCOON (7) pressed on to the breeze last start from gate 10 over the middle-distance and rolling the sleeves was in for the fight to run a sharp closing 800m and blast home to an 8m victory. He will need to work again from the tough gate, yet despite the 7, he is right in the fight.

OUR DELIGHT (2) will take benefit from her latest outing when 1st up to kick-off her 4YO term. Opting for cover after finding the pegs 1st, she was midfield to MAJESTIC KIWI and has claims here.

OUR LITTLE DIGGER (6) speared to the pegs from gate 3 here on Fri and with nothing looking for the front, tried to take them all the way. Gunned down on the line, he has hopes despite a tough gate.

SELECTIONS: GUNRNEEDABIGRBOAT (10), SECRETAGENT TYCOON (7), OUR DELIGHT (2), OUR LITTLE DIGGER (6)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 2-6-7-10
