RACE TWO

Another tough race to drill down into here with plenty of in-form runners and the early map throwing up plenty of what-ifs. Leaning to JOHNNY WHITE (4) who will be further tightened from his latest outing when 2nd up from a break. Sent straight to the front over the sprint trip at Redcliffe, he held them out in running a strong last 800m. Early position will be key, but he can prevail.

JERADAS DELIGHT (9) settled back in the pack from gate 10 last outing and was a real eye-catcher when charging home in the latter stages to grab the bronze behind BEE GEES BANDIT. Promoted into 3rd the start prior in a mares only event, she has hit the board in all 5 AP outings and if the heat is on, she is the off-speed runner.

BRIDGET BLUE CHIP (1) was obliged to do it the tough way last start over the Redcliffe 2040m trip when outside the leader and grinding hard to be 2m from the winner. With the ace gate she can feature.

HANDSOME HERO (5) delivered the hat-trick last time out when taking the trail and then making the closing shot a winning one. Finishing best over the 2138m the start prior, finding early position will be key.

SELECTIONS: JOHNNY WHITE (4), JERADAS DELIGHT (9), BRIDGET BLUE CHIP (1), HANDSOME HERO (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

UNCLE JORD (1) finally lands a marble after facing some wide gates in all 9 starts here at The Creek. That has not stopped him from returning some top efforts in finishing in the money at 7 of those 9. Add to those numbers a last start win at Redcliffe where he was too strong in flexing his muscle from the breeze. With seed out of the machine, he will give them plenty to chase.

DOUBLEDELIGHTBRIGADE (10) is 4 from 4 here at The Creek and returns from a freshen to tackle this contest. Wide off the track last start after landing gate 7, it was a strong effort to loom up and put them away in claiming a 2m victory over the mile. A smart mare, she looks up for the challenge.

SIR JULIAN (8) sat in the 1x1 trail last start at Redcliffe but could not go on with them in the closing stages. 2 starts back he was only 3m from the winner THE BUS and with a cosy trip can feature.

SECRETAGENT TYCOON (9) was game in defeat over the mile 2 starts back when runner-up to BRIGHT ENERGY. Working home strongly last start when beaten a head, he has since trialled mid-week and will be right in this.

SELECTIONS: UNCLE JORD (1), DOUBLEDELIGHTBRIGADE (10), SIR JULIAN (8), SECRETAGENT TYCOON (9)
SUGGESTED BET: UNCLE JORD (1) to win

RACE FOUR

Another even race where the front-line speed will be a big factor in the outcome. Despite landing the 2nd line TYPHOON STRIDE (10) will enjoy a strong tempo from the front. 3rd when under 2m from the winner after charging home 2 starts back, he was too far back last time. With even luck he can land the loot.

PINUP BOY (4) has been runner-up at his past 2 starts as he is continuing to get close to a qualifying victory. Holding the pocket trail from inside the 2nd line last start at Redcliffe, he held the silver behind ITZ MY GENERATTION. A top run the start prior when making up a stack of ground, he is right in this.

COMMODORE JUJON (1) looked to take them all the way last week from gate 1 over the Redcliffe 2040m. With a steady opening half, he looked to dial it up only to be gunned down on the line. With the options he will be in the mix again.

HAVING THE FAITH (6) started fav last time when working home wide off the track to be 5m in arrears of the winner AMILLION PROMISES. Runner-up the start prior to TACTICAL RESPONSE in a qualifier when shooting for a threepeat, he can close late here.

SELECTIONS: TYPHOON STRIDE (10), PINUP BOY (4), COMMODORE JUJON (1), HAVING THE FAITH (6)
SUGGESTED BET: TYPHOON STRIDE (10) to win

RACE FIVE

EARL JUJON (6) has been to the track three times since being freshened and has landed tough gates on each occasion. Despite again coming up with a poor alley, he might just be able to land the right trip to arrive. Buried 3 back in the pegs last start, he closed strongly when 4m from the winner and despite it being close to 12 months since his last success, this looks within reach.

OUR UNCLE JIM (10) is looking for a hat-trick after successive Redcliffe victories at the 1780m. Finding the 1x1 trail 2 starts back, he had bullets to spare when blazing home to an 11m victory and followed that with a tough win when wide off the track and cruising home to a 15m margin. The gate stings but he has hit form.

ROGER THAT (1) was kept fresh heading into his run 2 starts back and then was not that far away after doing some early work at his next outing. Lining up fresh from that again here, he has the right gate to be thereabouts.

OYSTER STRIDE (5) held the pocket trail last start when not seeing space when needed that may have seen him finish a little closer than he did behind DINA BOLT. Not that far away behind GEE GEES BANDIT in a much tougher race the start prior, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: EARL JUJON (6), OUR UNCLE JIM (10), ROGER THAT (1), OYSTER STRIDE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: EARL JUJON (6) to win

RACE SIX

NURBURGRING (2) was sent around them from gate 12 last start and did plenty of work wide off the track when parked 3-wide. Digging in for the fight when only a head from the winner, it had followed an easy win in front as a short-priced elect. From this gate he looks to take control and will have them chasing.

THEARTOFINFUSION (1) took the trail from this gate last start and with the closing half strong in front, he held on for the bronze when 6m in arrears of the winner. Charging home to score here 2 starts back, he looks set for the perfect trip in behind the speed and can try to make a closing play.

MACH LE MORE (8) has been in great touch since arriving in Qld, yet to miss the board in 7 outings. Easing to find position last start from gate 4, he held on for 3rd to ITZ MY GENERATION. The pegs look the place to be in this contest and he can add another minor.

IDEAL WORLD (9) was sent to the post a red figure fav last start over the 2138m trip after landing gate 1. In front every step bar the important one, he was 3rd when a half-neck away. An easy all the way winner 2 starts back when 1st up from a spell, he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: NURBURGRING (2), THEARTOFINFUSION (1), MACH LE MORE (8), IDEAL WORLD (9)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 2 / 1-8-9

RACE SEVEN

MACH TORQUE (6) was locked away on the poles last start and from there never had a crack at them. Working home strongly from back in the pack the start prior when 5m from the passing lane winner HUNZA VALLEY, they might just consider lighting the fuse early in this. Either scenario she is worth a chance in chasing the elusive qualifying win.

MADAMOISELLE JUJON (7) has been runner-up in 3 successive mares qualifiers now, landing wide gates on each occasion. Working home from a rearward position last start, she was 3m in arrears of JOANNIES GIRL. Working hard in the run the start prior when nabbed late up the passing lane, she will need to work at some stage again here.

KOTARE ELITE (5) held the 1x1 trail last start at Redcliffe and held on for the bronze behind the break-away pair of JOANNIES GIRL and MADAMOISELLE JUJON. The gate stings, but she won’t be too far away.

MIZZZ ADELE (8) started from gate 2 at Redcliffe last week and was content to cut the breeze throughout. Fading to mid-field as JOANIES GIRL ran away with it, with early options as the lone 2nd line runner, she has claims.

SELECTIONS: MACH TORQUE (6), MADAMOISELLE JUJON (7), KOTARE ELITE (5), MIZZZ ADELE (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

MISTER HART (5) worked home in good order from back in the pack here 2 starts back at the 2138m trip to grab the bronze behind GOTTA MOMENT. Holding the pocket trail last start from inside the 2nd line, he made a late dive to get within a head of the winner. Despite a tricky gate, he is going well and can arrive.

COOLIE KID (1) claimed a 2nd division qualifier no stronger than this 5 runs back when doing it the tough way outside the leader over the 2138m trip. Since that win not much has been in his favour, the latest when snagging back from gate 6 to find position. With eh improved gate he gets a chance.

CONVAIR HUSTLER (3) settled back in the pack last start and then could not work into the contest with the leader running a sub 28 panel down the side of The Triangle. Not far from IMASPORTSSTAR the start prior, he has claims.

VIEWBYTHEROCK (10) pressed forward from gate 6 and maintaining the rage worked to the front over the Redcliffe sprint trip 2 starts back. Holding on for 3rd, he was charging home wide out on Tues when a neck from the winner and is in the mix again.

SELECTIONS: MISTER HART (5), COOLIE KID (1), CONVAIR HUSTLER (3), VIEWBYTHEROCK (10)
SUGGESTED BET: MISTER HART (5) to win

RACE NINE

After 2 runs back from a small break COLT THIRTY ONE (6) has been faultless in claiming successive victories. Resuming with a tough win over this trip when circling to get up outside the leader and then putting them away, his 2nd up run was sharp when making a sustained run wide off the track to arrive. He has the tough gate again but the threepeat is on.

OUR UNCLE SAM (3) bounced back to winning form last start when scoring a strong win at Redcliffe after working wide off the track the last 900m. Running some smart closing splits wide off the track, he knuckled down to the challenge in strong fashion. With the gate advantage over the main dangers, he can look to capitalise.

ASHLEY LOCAZ (5) rolled forward last time to face the breeze over the mile and was in for the fight to go under a half-head after doing all the work in a slick 1.51.2 mile. Too strong the start prior, he will be right in the fight once again and a Victoria Cup nomination looks a possibility.

SELECTIONS: COLT THIRTY ONE (6), OUR UNCLE SAM (3), ASHLEY LOCAZ (5)
SUGGESTED BET: COLT THIRTY ONE (6) to win

RACE TEN

JEDDY R YA READY (1) should appreciate the front tape all to himself and with his good manners can be in front early to then hold all the options. It has been a while since he last tasted success, yet his runs have still been sound in recent outings. 6m in arrears of CASTLERAGH 2 runs back, this appeals.

MAJESTIC SIMON (4) was huge in defeat 2 starts back when charging home in the closing stages wide off the track in running a sizzling closing 800m split, beaten a half-head. Franking that effort when scoring a dominant win over subsequent winner IM THE COMMANDO, he will throw it down.

GREG THE GREAT (7) tackled the mobile conditions mid-week when showing speed out of the machine to find the pocket trail. Only 1.5m from OUR OVERANOVA, he will be winding up late.

IL PIRATA (3) returns from a freshen but has been to the trials to blow out the cobwebs. Forget his last start when making an error, his effort 2 back was sound, and he can be thereabouts in this.

SELECTIONS: JEDDY R YA READY (1), MAJESTIC SIMON (4), GREG THE GREAT (7), IL PIRATA (3)
SUGGESTED BET:
