RACE TWO

HELLBOUND (8) is yet to win from the tapes, but with his recent efforts he can look to change that here. 3 starts back at Redcliffe he found the line strongly to get within a half-neck of the winner after starting from a 50m tape. His latest run was sound against stronger opponents and he can cash-in.

SCORCHED (6) is getting close to a win after some handy efforts in recent starts where things haven’t really gone his way. Buried on the pegs last start, he struck trouble when down the line behind HELLBOUND 2 starts back which followed a real eye-catcher. Stick with him.

SHADY SADIE (4) is the query runner with no local trial to her name as she steps out in Aus for the 1^st time since Jun 18 when down the line at Auckland. While her most recent form has not been great, it has been in stronger competition than this and in the astute Brad Connelly team must be respected.

OLE SUN (2) added another minor placing to his tally last start to make it a top 3 finish at his past 6 in succession. He chased valiantly last start from the 60m tape and returning to the front is a big plus.

RACE THREE

MAYWYN NO REGRETS (1) returned from a spell in the heats of the Brisbane Sale Gold and from this same gate held the silver behind the smart filly FOR ALL WE KNOW. Outclassed in the final of that series, she has been freshened and with the options from this gate can start her season in style.

BEEF CITY STARZZZ (8) had been runner-up at his 1^st 3 starts in succession before cashing in 2 starts back when able to lead all the way in scoring a comfortable 6m victory. Only 2m from the winner at Redcliffe last start, he will enjoy the cosy trip and be coiled and ready to strike.

ALI DOWNUNDER (7) finished best from the widest gate at Redcliffe last start to swoop home to a nice win. He hit the line in nice order here 2 starts back and with even luck from the wide gate has claims.

MOLLYS SECRET (2) makes her 1^st AP appearance after al 4 career starts have been at Redcliffe. Finding the pocket trail from gate 2 last start she finished best for a handy win. She won’t be far away.

RACE FOUR

MR KALYPSO (9) is a highly credentialed 5YO that will make his 1^st race appearance for Kylie Rasmussen. 1^st up since April, that was a 2 start prep after 12 months on the sidelines. Formerly trained by the All Stars in NZ, he has 2 sharp trials to prepare and if fit enough should be too classy.

OPONONIS BLISS (3) will take some benefit from her latest start when resuming from a break which was a 1 start mission that delivered the 3YO Triad Consolation. Returning in good style when only beaten a half-neck behind COREY WILLIAM, she can feature again here.

MAYWYNS COURAGE (4) will be tightened from his latest run when 1^st up since April. Starting from the 2^nd line he was hitting the line nicely when 2^nd to TUESDAYS FELLA. Back in the draw, he can look to fire out early.

BEEF CITY BLAZE (8) will need so luck from the gate but should enjoy the economical trip along the pegs. Resuming from a break, he has been top 3 at his past 7 in succession and the cosy trip suits.

RACE FIVE

GLASSCUTTERSPIRIT (8) attacked the line strongly last start after going back from e 6 to find position and swooping home to arrive right in time to score by a nose at Redcliffe. 5 starts back he finished best here to score a wide-out win and with the right trip can be probing for the run.

GOODTIME STRIDE (7) has the wide gate to overcome, yet should appreciate a race like this. She was hitting the line in nice style last start behind THE IDES OF MARCH after starting from the 2^nd line. That followed a late charging 2^nd to EPIRUS BOY and with even luck a win would be no surprise.

MONUMENTAL (3) was mid-field last start behind SHADOW PASS which followed successive 3^rd placed finishes when beaten 4m and 3m in each. He will need some luck but will be finishing hard.

ALLNIGHT MLADY (2) has good early speed and from this alley can look to get in the action early. Her 3^rd 2 starts back was a nice effort when working in the run and she can be in the mix.

RACE SIX

LENNY THE LEGEND (2) has been runner-up at his past 2 starts with the latest when the best of the chasing pack behind the big winner ARGYLE BEACH after starting from gate 10. Winless for over 12 months now, he has worked his way back into touch and from this alley looks to get his chance.

LILAC FLASH (8) will only need the slightest ounce of luck to take this. Sent forward from the 2^nd line here last start, he went down swinging when only beaten a head after working hard in the run. That followed a hat-trick of victories and if he can find space with track to work with will be hard to stop.

FRANCO TOTEM (4) worked around them early last start and pressed on to the front when looking to have made the winning move. Alas he was grabbed in the closing stages to go under by 1m. A smart customer when right, he can feature here.

HOT ROD HEAVEN (1) took on a 2138m qualifier here 2 starts back and was finding the line in good order to be within 1.5m of the winner. Mid-field on Sat night behind the airborne SECRET JACK, the gate is a big plus.

RACE SEVEN

BRING ON LEFTY (2) bounced back to winning form here on Sat night after building towards the victory from his past few starts. Controlling the tempo in front over the mile, he was able to fight them off. 1^st to the pegs here they will have plenty to chase once again.

FIOKI (1) is winless since Sept 2 2017 and while his numbers don’t show much, he will get the perfect trip here and be ready to take the snipers shot. Finding the line strongly here 2 starts back when 5m from the winner LUCKY VOODOO, he wasn’t suited from gate 6 on Sat night. He can strike here.

DIVAS DELIGHT (9) found the pocket trail last start and used the passing lane to get within 2m of the winner WATTLEBANK FLYER. He can enjoy a nice trail through in the early stages here and has podium claims.

FIFTH EDITION (8) was 4^th to BRING ON LEFTY here on Sat night in a tidy effort. His run 2 back was good when charging home from back in the pack and with the cosy trip can take the short-cuts.

RACE EIGHT

IOWNATURBO (1) has placed at her past 3 starts with the latest when using the passing lane at Redcliffe to sprint sharply and get within a neck of the winner THE IDES OF MARCH. There looks to be some front end pressure and if able to hit the lane with momentum can be the fresh legs on the scene.
 
OUR CHITTYBANGBANG (2) was officially last here on Sat night, however the run was full of merit when doing all the hard yards in the breeze and digging in for the fight when 11m from the winner ROCK WITH SAM. He can look to find the pegs and from the front will be trying to fight them off.
THE IDES OF MARCH (8) will have the benefit of getting away from the pegs in the early stages if need be. Completing his hat-trick last start when too tough for them I strong time over the sprint trip at Redcliffe, he can throw down another strong challenge in this.

SOME EXCUSESOMEWHERE (4) did it easy at his Qld and Aus debut here last start, running some slick panels over the mile in scoring by 7m. There was plenty to like about that win and taking benefit from that run, he will be right in the fight here in a tough race to close the card.
