RACE TWO

THE NEXT STAR (2) shoots for the hat-trick after successive wins here on the triangle at the sprint and middle distance trips. Finishing best along the passing lane last start, that followed an all the way win from gate 2. She can look for the front here and in front will take some catching.

GREGS LEGACY (8) was banished to the trials for a sub-par run last start and has since come through a trial in good order. His run 2 starts back behind the in-form THE IDES OF MARCH was a good effort and with the right trail through early can look to bounce back.

SPONDOOLEY (10) was only 5m from the winner last start and may have been much closer with a cleaner passage. He relies on luck in his races and with some of that can make career start 200 memorable.

RED LUCK (7) was in the pocket trail at AP over the mile last start when finishing mid-field behind SOHO SHANGHAI. This is a rung below what he has met his past few and if spotting a gap can feature.

SELECTIONS: THE NEXT STAR (2), GREGS LEGACY (8), SPONDOOLEY (10), RED LUCK (7)
SUGGESTED BET: THE NEXT STAR (2) to win

RACE THREE

TOOK YOUR TIME (10) returned from a spell in good style 4 starts back and was able to finish over the top in scoring a 7m victory. Beaten in red figures at his next start, he hasn’t worked into the contest his past 2. He gets into this nicely despite the gate and gets every chance to take this.

SCOTT TOM (2) has mixed his form somewhat his past few, but with good early speed gets his chance to look for the pegs and from the front can be a big improver. He found the line in good fashion here 3 starts back and if able to dictate can be in the money.

LUVU GRAZAELLA (7) will take benefit from her latest start when resuming from a break where she did some work early in the run. Only beaten a half-neck 4 starts back the cosy trip will suit.

FALCON VISTA (5) was a bit keen in the run last start over the 2040m and couldn’t finish it off. He faces a wide gate here but back to 1780m is in his favour and he can be sharper in this.

SELECTIONS: TOOK YOUR TIME (10), SCOTT TOM (2), LUVU GRAZAELLA (7), FALCON VISTA (5)
SUGGESTED BET: TOOK YOUR TIME (10) to win

RACE FOUR

FEEL THE REIGN (9)
started from gate 10 here 2 starts back when 2nd up from a break and was able to finish over the top to score. Again off the 2nd line last start, this time at AP, he hit the line in good style to ne 2m from the winner. Fitter again, he can power over the top of them.

IFYOUBELIEVE (3) found his race here 6 starts back and was able to take control in front and keep them chasing. Struggling to land a marble in his past 3, the effort probably hasn’t matched the result. With the good gate he can look to capitalise.

TAP IT IN (8) will take benefit from his latest start when having his 1st outing in 6 weeks. Finding cover from gate 4 he was 10m from the winner. Trailing through early he won’t be far away.

WILLSINTOWN (7) made the most of his chances from gate 1 last start and was able to take them all the way in holding on for a narrow victory. He will need some luck this time but won’t be far away.

SELECTIONS: FEEL THE REIGN (9), IFYOUBELIEVE (3), TAP IT IN (8), WILLSINTOWN (7)
SUGGESTED BET: FEEL THE REIGN (9) to win

RACE FIVE

DIXIE TRIX (8) was finding the line in good style here 2 starts back after being buried away in the run from inside the 2nd line. From gate 9 last start the leaders skipped right as she tried to make her run yet she still found the line nicely. Settling closer she strikes a very winnable race.

BETTOR WATCH HIM (2) was a comfortable Marburg winner 3 starts back and followed that with a good run under the circumstances at Kilcoy when subsequently declared a non-runner after being denied a fair start. From this alley he can look to fire the 1st shot and will take some catching.

FLASHING GOOD TIME (7) will need her slice of luck from this alley as she looks likely to be shuffled away, however with the cosy trip can look to finish off strongly like she did for the bronze 3 starts back.

BUKTHSYSTEM (6) scored a decisive win here 2 starts back when skipping clear and posting a margin. Working in the run last start the run had merit and despite the gate he has claims.

SELECTIONS: DIXIE TRIX (8), BETTOR WATCH HIM (2), FLASHING GOOD TIME (7), BUKTHSYSTEM (6)
SUGGESTED BET: DIXIE TRIX (8) each-way

RACE SIX

CIRCLE LINE (2)
has started 4 times this preparation with 2 of those coming from inside the 2nd line which is not his preferred positon. Running into the airborne SECRET JACK at his past 2 starts, he has the speed to lead here and looks to get every chance.

LIVING GRAND (5) worked hard in the run last start at AP over the mile from gate 4 and dug in bravely to only be 1m from the winner SOHO SHANGHAI. Too far back 2 starts back behind BIG BRUCE, he can work forward here and can throw down the challenge.

ITS ALL TORQUE (8) sat in the trail last start at Marburg when holding on for the bronze behind CHIRPY CHUCKLES. Freshened since that outing, he can get the handy trail through and has place claims.

JACKS GAMBIT (4) will take benefit from his latest run when returning from a break and buried away on the pegs, closing off well to finish mid-field. Include in the exotics in this type of race.

SELECTIONS: CIRCLE LINE (2), LIVING GRAND (5), ITS ALL TORQUE (8), JACKS GAMBIT (4)
SUGGESTED BET: CIRCLE LINE / LIVING GRAND (2/5) quinella

RACE SEVEN

JAKES ARK (1) has now started 3 times since resuming from a break and been no closer than gate 6 in those 3. His latest effort at AP was a tidy effort when hitting the line in good style behind TORI MAY and with the options from the ace looks to get his chance.

PAY ME INTEREST (5) isn’t far away from a dividend in these types of races and with even luck can cash-in here. Angled away from the pegs last start she was finding the line in good order to get within 1m of the winner ARCH EMPRESS. Placed her past 2, a win would be no surprise.

WHATA STRIDE (2) released the front from gate 1 here last start and using the passing lane was able to get within a half-head of the winner. That was a much sharper effort and with the right run can feature.

IRRESTIABLE GABBY (3) will be tightened from her latest outing when 2nd up from a break. Settling handy to the pace here she can be an improver.

SELECTIONS: JAKES ARK (1), PAY ME INTEREST (5), WHATA STRIDE (2), IRRESTIABLE GABBY (3)
SUGGESTED BET: PAY ME INTEREST (5) to place

RACE EIGHT

REDRIVERDEBBA (7)
will be much better suited here than last start when coming off 60m and never in the contest after making an error. She hit the line in good order at her Qld debut from gate 5 over the 2040m trip 2 starts back and 3 back wasn’t far from the winner KINVARA SUE in a G1 trot at Melton. She can take this.

PATSDELIGHT (1) lines up for the hat-trick after rounding out her 3YO season with a demolition job from the tapes last Fri at AP. Starting from 10m she stepped straight to the front and was never in danger in posting a huge 40m winning margin. Back to mobile conditions here, if she can handle the triangle she will go close.

DAY TOURER (5) is a good beginner from the mobile and can look to settle handy in the early stages here. A winner 2 starts back when finding the pegs before releasing, he was best of the chasers last start behind PATSDELIGHT.

GO AHEAD MAKEMYDAY (3) was buried away in the run last start from gate 1 over the 2040 and finished off well enough to suggest he can be one to include in the multiples in this line-up.

SELECTIONS: REDRIVERDEBBA (7), PATSDELIGHT (1), DAY TOURER (5), GO AHEAD MAKEMYDAY (3)
SUGGESTED BET: REDRIVERDEBBA (7) to win
