RACE TWO

A tricky contest to dissect here where THANKHEAVNFORGIRLS (3) can look to make the most of a handy gate and sent forward can get her chance. Backing up from Friday where she landed a 2nd line gate but looked a hope, her 2nd here 2 starts back was a nice effort. Can take this if limiting the work.

MARTHAS VINEYARD (7) started from outside the 2nd line at Marburg last start and was attacking the line strongly in the closing stages, falling just a half-head short of the prize. A mare that can do a few things wrong, she looks to be the type that will appreciate the bigger track and she has claims.

OUR LITTLE GIRL (9) can be forgiven for her latest return when striking trouble and put out of business when looking to work into the contest. A tidy winner 2 starts back, she can chime in here.

VIC HUNTER (1) did his share of work last start when wide and pressing to the breeze at Marburg prior to fading out. Not far from BEEF CITY STARRZZZ 2 starts back, the inside gate helps his chances.

SELECTIONS: THANKHEAVNFORGIRLS (3), MARTHAS VINEYARD (7), OUR LITTLE GIRL (9), VIC HUNTER (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

ALL GOOD WALLY (3) has been freshened since his last appearance when fading out after a tough run when working in the breeze over the Redcliffe 2040m trip. Holding on for the bronze the start prior when the ruling fav, he was wide and working in a tidy effort. He can get forward to dictate.

HALF MOON BEACH (7) was sent forward to take up the lamp lighting duties here last start over the 2138m trip. Trying to fight them off, he settled for the silver behind his half-sister HALLY GUINEVERE after looking to have it sewn up 100m from home. The gate hurts but he can go close here.

NON PASSARE (10) was strong from the breeze 2 starts back when sliding across from gate 5 and holding on for the bronze when 9m away. Stung in a sub 27 opener to lead last start, he can place.

IFYOUBELIEVE (1) returns to Qld and the stables of Brian McCall after being unable to fire in 4 starts at Tamworth. With good early speed, he can be sharper here from the good gate.

SELECTIONS: ALL GOOD WALLY (3), HALF MOON BEACH (7), NON PASSARE (10), IFYOUBELIEVE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ALL GOOD WALLY (3) to win

RACE FOUR

MISS KEESHA (3)
should take good benefit from her latest appearance when returning from a freshen. Having an early look for the front, she couldn’t muster the speed and was left cutting the breeze. Fighting hard when 4m in arrears, the lead looks available and against mares, can capitalise.

CUPCAKESNWHIPCREAM (1) eased back from gate 6 at Redcliffe last start and despite the pace looking to favour those up-front, she was able to close out nicely to arrive for a half-neck victory. A runner-up from the pocket-trail 4 starts back, she will be coiled and ready to take the snipers shot.

GOALKICKER (5) sat in the trail from gate 1 last start over the 2138m last time out and couldn’t quite go when the sprint went on.  Her run 2 back behind MAJOR LUCKY had merit and she can feature.

LAUGHING EMOJI (4) resumes from a break after not really showing her best last campaign. Yet to find the winner stall in Qld, she has opened the pipes with a nice trail and stays under notice.

SELECTIONS: MISS KEESHA (3), CUPCAKESNWHIPCREAM (1), GOALKICKER (5), LAUGHING EMOJI (4)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-4-5

RACE FIVE

CAESARS ASTRUM (2) made the most of gate 1 to take them all the way at Redcliffe 4 starts back and followed that with a nice 3rd to GINA MACH when 3m away. Not suited when forced to work too hard in the breeze over the 2138m in a mares qualifier, she can look to take control here.

BUKTHSYSTEM (1) landed the prize at Redcliffe 2 starts back when releasing the speed early and then making the most of the passing lane to arrive for the prize. Hitting the line in nice style last start when 6m in arrears, he has a 50% place strike-rate here at The Creek and can add to that here.

TRENT FROM PUNCHY (8) had no speed here on Thurs from gate 1 and soon found himself buried 3 back on the pegs and was never a factor thereafter. With a cheap run straight up, he can chime in.

GUTS (4) wasn’t too far away last time out from gate 7 after sliding forward to the breeze when unable to find a position. He can get forward here and despite a long winless streak, has some hope.

SELECTIONS: CAESARS ASTRUM (2), BUKTHSYSTEM (1), TRENT FROM PUNCHY (8), GUTS (4)
SUGGESTED BET: CAESARS ASTRUM (2) to win

RACE SIX

Fitter following a return to the track after a break, DOLLY MACH LOMBO (3) can look to press forward and take up the front-running here. Cutting the breeze 1st up, the work took its toll late when 6m away. Sent for a break after a tidy 2 start hit and run mission to Victoria, she can dictate.

WHOSTOLEMYPIGEON (9) settled back in the pack from gate 10 here last time out and was hitting the line in good order when claiming the silver and finishing 2m from the winner GINA MACH. He lands another 2nd line alley after a string of tough gates, but is going well enough to challenge here.

GEST AS SMART (1) settled a long way back after retreating from gate 6 here last time out. Charging home down the outside, he attacked the line strongly and with an improved gate can feature.

GRIZZLY MONTANA (6) made the most of finding the front over the Redcliffe 2040m 4 starts back, taking them all the way. Runner-up at his next 2, this is easier than his latest outing and he can place.

SELECTIONS: DOLLY MACH LOMBO (3), WHOSTOLEMYPIGEON (9), GEST AS SMART (1), GRIZZLY MONTANA (6)
SUGGESTED BET: DOLLY MACH LOMBO (3) to win

RACE SEVEN

TAKITIMU EXPRESS (3) will take good benefit from his latest start when charging home from a long way back to claim a smart victory at Marburg. In 3 runs back from a spell, he has faced some tough gates, the past 2 wide off the 2nd line. The improved gate is a big plus and he gets his chance here.

JUST ROKIN (1) has been in nice touch and heading into a mares race here on Thurs had been in the money at 4 in succession. Forced to retreat from gate 5 in that contest, she was tough in the breeze when 2m from STEVIE DEE 2 starts back and only beaten a neck when charging home 3 back.

STEVIE DEE (8) shouldn’t have any fitness concerns, lining up here for her 5th start in the past 11 days. Not suited from gate 7 when snagging back 2 starts back, she will back-up from Sat night and with the trailing gate will be sniping for the gaps.

ELMAUR JOY (4) has good early speed and can look to fire out early. Pressing on to find the front over the mile here 2 starts back when finishing 4m away, she can be thereabouts in this.

SELECTIONS: TAKITIMU EXPRESS (3), JUST ROKIN (1), STEVIE DEE (8), ELMAUR JOY (4)
SUGGESTED BET: TAKITIMU EXPRESS (3) to win

RACE EIGHT

The get-out looks a tough contest with the front-line speed all important. With that in mind, KAANAPALI (2) can use his speed to fire out and will then be looking to pinch a panel or 2. Leading up as the fav from gate 1 at Marburg last start, he couldn’t see it out but in this he can search for redemption.

MY SECRET TORQUE (6) will take benefit from her latest start when returning from a freshen over the Marburg 1850m. Snagged back early, she was then wide out and grabbed 3rd behind a tear-away pair. Limiting the early burn, she can look to chime in here.

RAFFERTY DELIGHTS (8) found the line in good order last start when 7m from the winner IMA BIRUBI BOY. Snagged back early 2 starts back, he can get a cosy trip here and will be searching for the gaps.

MOONLIGHT JACK (3) wasn’t suited over the 2138m here last start and after snagging back early, was too far back against a much stronger line-up. Placed his previous 2, back to the mile against these suits.

SELECTIONS: KAANAPALI (2), MY SECRET TORQUE (6), RAFFERTY DELIGHTS (8), MOONLIGHT JACK (3)
SUGGESTED BET:
