RACE TWO

WAVEDANCER (3)  has been meeting some much stronger opposition at Albion Park of late. Two starts ago he worked home nicely behind Just One Good One over the 2138 metre journey. Last start came off a second row draw over the mile at Albion Park finishing 7.1 metres behind Supreme Banner. The draw suggests he should be close enough in the run to come with the last shot.

CAMIVISTA (1) comes up with his best draw for some time. Although the form on paper doesn’t read favourably he was a winner here five starts ago coming off a good draw when leading all of the way. A winner of four races here at Marburg, from the gate he has options and can be in the finish.

GRINYDONTCHA (6) has faced stronger company her last couple of starts at Albion Park. Two starts ago was 10.2 metres away from Just One Good One coming off the inside of the second row. Maps to get a good run here, just needs some luck to figure.

BAMBOLE NERE (2) has been thereabouts of late. Drawn to race handy, she can feature in the placings.

SELECTIONS: WAVEDANCER (3), CAMIVISTA (1), GRINYDONTCHA (6), BAMBOLE NERE
SUGGESTED BET: WAVEDANCER (3) to win

RACE THREE

ALL MADNESS (2) had been in good form of late prior to taking on a stronger race at Albion Park last start where he had no luck finishing down the track behind Wanjiru. A winner here five starts ago coming off a similar draw he can find the pegs first and be mighty hard to hold out.

IFYOUBELIEVE (1) showed sharp improvement last start when beaten a neck behind Half Moon Beach at Albion Park in a 1:56.1 mile rate. Gets the same draw here as last start so should receive a good run in transit and be hard to beat.

PAQUIN (4)
has been in fine form of late. She was a winner here three starts back when having to sit parked and only went down narrowly last start at Redcliffe behind Non Passare coming off a wide draw. She may have to work in the run here but no doubt she will make her presence felt.

RISKY BUSINESS (6)
is a chance of being buried away if All Madness finds the front. His run last start at Albion Park was solid behind Supreme Banner where he finished third. If luck falls his way he can be in the finish.

SELECTIONS: ALL MADNESS (2), IFYOUBELIEVE (1), PAQUIN (4), RISKY BUSINESS (6)
SUGGESTED BET: ALL MADNESS (2) to win

RACE FOUR

WHATA STRIDE (2)
finds a very winnable race here. Last start at Albion Park she had to do all the bullocking work outside the leader and battled on to be in arrears 11.8 metres behind Thankheavnforgirls. Although yet to break through at Marburg there looks be a good chance of her finding the pegs first and if that eventuates looks very hard to beat.

PERFECT FEELING (3) was a winner here two starts back when leading all of the way, last start ran on well only beaten 4.5 metres at Albion Park behind Half Moon Beach in a 1:56.1 mile rate. He should race close to the speed from the draw which gives him a good chance in a race like this.

TORQUE TO THE MAX (4) has been racing in great heart of late without a lot of luck. The draw doesn’t do her any favours but with some luck in transit she can place.

MOONLIGHT BUTCHER (6) is another who is racing well but is a chance of being buried away on the pegs here. He has been placed three from five stats here at Marburg. If luck is on his side he can feature.

SELECTIONS: WHATA STRIDE (2), PERFECT FEELING (3), TORQUE TO THE MAX (4), MOONLIGHT BUTCHER (6)
SUGGESTED BET: WHATA STRIDE (2) to win

RACE FIVE

DOMESTIC ART (4) has a great record at this track winning nine and being placed on ten other occasions. He struck a strong race at Albion Park last start finishing down the track behind the smart Getarattleon. Stripping fitter now after two starts back from a freshen can roll forward from the gate and take some catching. This looks a nice to make it win number ten at Marburg.

LIGHTHORSE (1) has again come up with the ace draw. Last start he was a winner here when leading all of the way. From the draw he has options and looks a danger.

WECANONLYHOPE (6) will be banking on LIGHTHORSE holding the lead here. Her run last start was full of merit at Albion Park behind Supreme Banner when inconvenienced in the run. If she can obtain some luck in transit she is a definite chance.

FLASHING GOOD TIME (2) was close up here last start behind Lighthorse when starting off the second row. Her form is good enough to suggest she will be competitive here with the right run throughout.

SELECTIONS: DOMESTIC ART (4), LIGHTHORSE (1), WECANONLYHOPE (6), FLASHING GOOD TIME (2)
SUGGESTED BET: DOMESTIC ART (4) to win

RACE SIX

TOP FLIGHT CRUZE (3) hasn’t had the best of draws of late although has been racing well. He is a horse that needs factors to go his way to feature and he might just have found them here. Four starts back he was a winner at Albion Park when he drew the inside of the front row taking them all of the way. He has gate speed and if utilised here and he can work forward to find the front and will take some catching.

AQUA CRUISER (2) is a stablemate of TOP FLIGHT CRUZE and has landed his best draw for some time. Last start was close up when finishing third to Lancelot Bromac at Albion Park and two starts ago at the same track had no luck behind Star Of Montana. Drawn better here and with the options from the gate looks the obvious threat to his stablemate.

KYMS BOY (1) comes up with the ace draw in this. Although his form doesn’t look outstanding on paper he can hustle at the start and be prominent throughout.

TAKITIMU EXPRESS (4) will need some favours to go his way but it is hard to fault his form. A winner here two starts back took his record to two wins from five starts here at Marburg. Last start was only 5.3 metres in arrears behind Elmaur Joy at Albion Park in a smart mile rate for the 2138 metre trip of 1:57.4. With luck in running he can feature.

JAX NAVARO (8) is racing well at present and was a placegetter here last start. He can place

SELECTIONS: TOP FLIGHT CRUZE (3), AQUA CRUISER (2), KYMS BOY (1), JAX NAVARO (8)
SUGGESTED BET: TOP FLIGHT CRUZE (3) to win

RACE SEVEN

BETTOR WATCH HIM (1) hasn’t been seen at the races since March 29 where he was third behind Cardlesfromheaven at Albion Park. Not seen at the trials in preparation for this will pose a fitness query. His record reads two wins and two placings from four starts here at Marburg so if he has enough miles in the legs he will be mighty hard to stop.

LIVING FREE (2) has been placed in three of his last five starts and is never too far away. His last start at Albion Park was full of merit behind Studleigh Will where he sat behind the leader in a 1:55.9 mile rate. There is a chance he might push to the lead from the draw and if that eventuates he is definitely in the mix.

HIGH ON MONTANA (4) has been placed his last two runs both at Albion Park. Last start had a good run in transit behind Victree Mikayla finishing third only 4.3 metres away from the winner. The start prior had a similar run and was only 5.5 metres away. He finds a suitable race here but will need some luck from the gate

SIR SEMPER FIDELIS (6) has a great record here at Marburg, winning three and being placed twice in eight starts. He hasn’t been too far away of late and looks to get an economical trip from the gate. He can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: BETTOR WATCH HIM (1), LIVING FREE (2), HIGH ON MONTANA (4), SIR SEMPER FIDELIS (6)

SUGGESTED BET: BETTOR WATCH HIM (1) to win
