RACE TWO

IMA TOP TYCOON (8) fired off the arm from gate 7 last start over the 2138m in looking to take them all the way. Setting a strong tempo, he was unable to finish them off, just fading in the closing stages. Only 7m from STOMPEM the start prior, he looks set for the perfect trip here where he can be coiled and ready to strike.

KETUT (7) has been bouncing between the claimers and Saturday night Band company, his latest outing when snagged back from gate 7 before hitting the line in nice style behind LOVE MY SISTER. Charging home against this opposition 2 starts back, he has no favours from the gate but will be descending on them in the stretch.

COMPLY OR DIE (1) has not had the taste of victory for some time but lands the gate to look to capitalise here. Not suited at 2138m last start he was game in the breeze the start prior when not too far off them. He will give them something to chase.

THREO (3) was not suited from gate 6 over the Redcliffe sprint trip last start when retreating and then facing a task with a solid tempo up front. Close up behind DINA BOLT the start prior, back to claiming grade suits.

SELECTIONS: IMA TOP TYCOON (8), KETUT (7), COMPLY OR DIE (1), THREO (3)
SUGGESTED BET: IMA TOP TYCOON (8) to win

RACE THREE

GAME SET MAJOR (1) was game in defeat when doing the heavy lifting in a 1.50.7 mile claimed by the passing lane winner NURBURGRING. Fighting hard to be 9m away in that outing, the effort was franked when claiming a qualifier last start. Sent straight to the front from gate 5 over this trip, he had the advantage and held serve in burning a 26.5 closing panel. He is the top seed again.

ALLELUIA (8) was obliged to do it the tough way last start when setting up outside the leader over the mile. With a 27.3 last split, he was unable to fight on to be 6m in arrears of the winner THATS HOW WEROLL. Buried in transit the start prior, he is set for the cosy trip and can look to take the snipers shot.

MUCH BETTOR (9) added another silver to the streak last start, making it 4 successive outings that he has been the runner-up. Taking the trail from gate 1 he went within a half-head of LOVE MY SISTER. The pegs look preferable again and he can chime in.

HARPAGUS (2) found the running line from gate 10 last start and caught the eye when finishing off strongly to be 4m in arrears of the dictating winner STOMPEM. Hitting the line nicely the start prior, she will be doing her best work late.

SELECTIONS: GAME SET MAJOR (1), ALLELUIA (8), MUCH BETTOR (9), HARPAGUS (2)
SUGGESTED BET: GAME SET MAJOR (1) to win

RACE FOUR

MAJOR FERNCO (1)
made the perfect Aus debut at just his 2nd career start when spearing across from gate 4 to lead them all the way to a comfortable victory. Buried away from inside the 2nd line when 2nd up and grabbing 3rd to BLACK HAWK JOE, what he gives away in experience he can look to pick up from the gate advantage.

FOUR STARZZZ FORSA (3) secured another victory here on Tuesday when pressing forward from gate 10 to amble to the front over the 2138m. Once in control he dialled it up to keep them chasing and land his 4th AP victory from 5 attempts. He may need to roll the sleeves here but will be in for the fight.

GWENDALION (8) eased to find position last start but from back in the pack was facing a task against the tempo. Only beaten a head here 2 starts back from 3 back on the inside, she may be one position closer in this to fire a closing shot.

JAY DEE BE ROLLIN (10) makes his 1st race appearance in Qld for Kevin Joiner and arrives a last start Menangle winner when leading throughout. With a nice trial to prepare for the local debut, the gate is a stinger.

SELECTIONS: MAJOR FERNCO (1), FOUR STARZZZ FORSA (3), GWENDALION (8), JAY DEE BE ROLLIN (10)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

HANDSOME HERO (4) took on a qualifier last start from gate 3 where he settled in the running line back in the pack. Not sighting the space when required, it was still a nice effort to be 7m from the winner SMOOTH SAILOR. Buried in the run the start prior behind UNCLE JORD, if he can position cheaply, he might just have the edge to knock them off.

MISTER BLACKJACK (1) has faced some tricky gates in his past 3 starts, he latest when locked away on the pegs and using the passing lane behind IDEAL WORLD. His run 3 starts back when mid-field but only 7m from SMITHSTARS LEXUS was full of merit and from the gate can lay down a challenge.

LUCKY UNLUCKY (8) snagged back from gate 6 last start to hope for some luck after yet another tough gate. Finishing smartly in 55.7 and 27.6, he was able to grab the bronze. He looks set to be buried here but if he sees any space at all can certainly make an impression.

STANLEY ROSS ROBYN (9) was having his 1st AP run this Winter Campaign last time out when running into the smart DINA BOLT. Snagged back before closing soundly, he can look for the short-cuts here to chime in late.

SELECTIONS: HANDSOME HERO (4), MISTER BLACKJACK (1), LUCKY UNLUCKY (8)
STANLEY ROSS ROBYN (9)
SUGGESTED BET: HANDSOME HERO (4) to win

RACE SIX

JIVE (1) added another minor to her name last start to ensure she has been in the top-three in all her 5 starts since arriving in Qld. Eased from gate 5 last time out, she was hitting the line in nice order to grab the bronze. Charging home the start prior to grab 2nd to PARAVANI, she has the options here to capitalise.

REMEMBER ME NOW (5) has found his form in recent starts and lines up here as the winner as 2 of his past 3 starts and runner-up in the other. Sent straight to the front last start from gate 2 over the mile, he was never in danger in claiming a 6m victory. The distance does ask a few questions here, but he can look to answer them.

MIZZZ ADELE (8) was tough in the breeze over the Redcliffe sprint trip 3 starts back at her Qld debut in scoring a 5m victory. Game in defeat after working hard in a mares qualifier behind AMAZING DREAM last start, she will be probing for gaps.

GETALOADATHISGIRL (9) found the running line last start from gate 4 and was attacking the line in nice order when only 1m from the winner. With wins in 3 of her previous 4 starts, she can be making late inroads here.

SELECTIONS: JIVE (1), REMEMBER ME NOW (5), MIZZZ ADELE (8), GETALOADATHISGIRL (9)
SUGGESTED BET: JIVE (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

JANSSON (9) started from this tape last time out when finding the pegs and securing a nice economical run in transit. Approaching the bend, he lost momentum behind a tiring leader and then did not have the clearest run to the line. With placings at his previous 3, he looks to get every chance.

SOH TWISTED (1) is a brilliant beginner and was again straight to the front last start. With a strong tempo being set in the early stages, she was unable to maintain the rage and was swallowed late, finishing 7m in arrears. If she can get an easier time of it early, she can certainly keep them chasing.

LADY HILLARY (2) faced the starter on 3 occasions last campaign where she was sent out the fav in each. Costly errors ended her hopes on each occasion, yet each run still had plenty of merit. With a trial here on Tuesday to open the pipes, she can challenge if the manners are on.

MALABAR SPUR (7) sat back in the pack against the poles last start and then did not have the smoothest passage when mid-field. Her run 3 starts back was a tidy effort and with an even amount of luck can chime in.

SELECTIONS: JANSSON (9), SOH TWISTED (1), LADY HILLARY (2), MALABAR SPUR (7)
SUGGESTED BET: JANSSON (9) to win
