RACE TWO

BRIGHT ENERGY (8) is still winless here at headquarters after his starting manners have proven costly. Charging home in electric splits here 3 starts back when 2nd to FAME ASSURED, he was again attacking the line when 3rd to SECRETAGENT TYCOON. Luckless behind NORTHVIEW HUSTLER last start, he will need some factors in his favour and can arrive if they fall his way.

SECRETAGENT TYCOON (9) stepped up to the open class ranks for the 1st time last start and was far from disgraced when 6.5m from the winner NORTHVIEW HUSTLER. Completing a hat-trick of wins the start prior to go 3 for 3 this campaign, he can look for a tactical jump on his main dangers in transit here.

DOUBLEDELIGHTBRIGADE (10) is 4 from 4 since arriving with the Dixon stable, the latest a tough effort from gate 7 when proving too strong. Tactics in running look all important here and if she can land a cart into the contest will be right in the fight.

HARD TO HEAR (1) angled to the pegs last start from gate 4 to look for short-cuts when not too far away. Buried in the run the start prior from gate 5, he has the early speed to utilise the options.

SELECTIONS: BRIGHT ENERGY (8), SECRETAGENT TYCOON (9), DOUBLEDELIGHTBRIGADE (10), HARD TO HEAR (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

Making the most of this same gate over the sprint trip last week NORTHVIEW HUSTLER (1) was left alone in front, a costly mistake for the chasers. Simply turning it into a turn and burn up the stretch, nothing was going to get past him in a 26.1 closing panel. The rise to 2138m is firmly in his favour and he can capitalise once again.

ASHLEY LOCAZ (5) will have to start from the same gate as he did last week and it looks to be a similar scenario that could be eventuating. 1st up in 8 months, he will strip fitter from the outing after easing forward to face the breeze and fighting gamely when 3.5m away. He will be in for the fight once again.

LILAC FLASH (8) eased from gate 5 o find position last start prior to working home wider off the track in grabbing the silver when 1m from the winner MAYWYNS BEST. 3rd to CRUZ the start prior, the economical trip can see him in the mix.

WATCH PULP FICTION (9) was 1st to the pegs prior to releasing to CRUZ last start and then holding on for the silver when 3m in arrears. Beaten by gate 11 the start prior, he can be chiming in late.

SELECTIONS: NORTHVIEW HUSTLER (1), ASHLEY LOCAZ (5), LILAC FLASH (8), WATCH PULP FICTION (9)
SUGGESTED BET: NORTHVIEW HUSTLER (1) to win

RACE FOUR

The classy filly AMAZING DREAM (8) put the writing on the wall with a real eye-catcher in her 1st up effort when beaten a half-neck after closing smartly in slick panels. Easing forward to find position from gate 7 last start, she was never bothered in finishing over the top of them last start. It could be a tricky gate, but following a slick beginner, can be in the right spot to make it career win 13.

LOVE MY SISTER (1) was sent straight to the front here last week and once in control was never in danger when holding on to claim victory at the mile. Beaten by gate 7 the start prior when retreating but still finishing in good order behind SMART AS CAMM BE, she will be trying to hold on.

UNCLE JORD (3) made the most of the gate advantage to press forward and once in front controlled the tempo to hold on to victory over AMAZING DREAM. Limiting the early burn can see him feature.

TACT BESS (9) settled in the 1x1 trail last start and was strong to the line when 3.5m in arrears of the winner LOVE MY SISTER. A passing lane winner 2 starts back, the pegs look the place to be here.

SELECTIONS: AMAZING DREAM (8), LOVE MY SISTER (1), UNCLE JORD (3), TACT BESS (9)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 8 / 1-3-9

RACE FIVE

PARAVANI (2) has been in great touch since returning from a spell and switching barns. A passing lane winner 3 starts back after pouncing on the pegs and then releasing, he has been close-up in 2 electric miles set by CRUNCH TIME since the win. He can tag and release again and looks to have the armoury to blast them late.

SMITHSTARS LEXUS (5) went to the front from gate 2 last time out over the 2138m and looked to take them all the way when grabbed in the last strides by SMOOTH SAILOR. Finishing best here 3 starts back at his 1st look at Albion Park, he can look to settle close to the action to launch his claim.

STREET APPEAL (9) started from this gate last start when making a move down the back straight, as the leader dialled it up in a 27.8 3rd panel. That took the edge off and he had to settle with 4th when 8m from the impressive winner IDEAL WORLD. Following through early here can see him in the mix.

COMMODORE JUJON (8) will be requiring a slice of luck to go his way as he looks set to be buried in the run here. Closing strongly to be 3m from the winner SMOOTH SAILOR last start, he can chime in again.

SELECTIONS: PARAVANI (2), SMITHSTARS LEXUS (5), STREET APPEAL (9), COMMODORE JUJON (8)
SUGGESTED BET: PARAVANI (2) to win

RACE SIX

A tricky race to dissect here where those with the winning form have drawn the wider gates. A winner of a similar race last time he was successful, JUMPING JOLT (4) has been attacking the line strongly in recent starts and in a race where there looks a genuine tempo, he can be the one to take the closing shot. Home in 55.1 and sub 27 last start, he can power over the top of them.

CLASSIE AMERICAN (1) went to the front here last start from gate 4 over the sprint trip when setting a slick tempo resulting in a 1.52.6 rate to the winner. Only fading in late in the stretch when 8m away, it followed a 6m margin to the airborne DOUBLEDELIGHTBRIGADE. He gets every chance.

RUBIES FOR TASH (6) has 3 wins her 6 attempts here at The Creek and lines up in search of a hat-trick after successive wins at this trip. A passing lane winner last week, she will be swooping late.

MAYWYNS BEST (7) was sent forward from gate 6 last start and was in for the fight when proving too tough from the breeze. With a pair of sub 28 closing splits, it was all heart and despite the wide gate, he is in super touch and will make his presence felt.

SELECTIONS: JUMPING JOLT (4), CLASSIE AMERICAN (1), RUBIES FOR TASH (6), MAYWYNS BEST (7)
SUGGESTED BET: JUMPING JOLT (4) each-way

RACE SEVEN

TACTICAL RESPONSE (5) started from this gate in qualifier last week over the 2138m when making some nice metreage wide off the track with the best last 800m out of the race. Snagged back from gate 7 the start prior when 3rd to BETTERTHANAJEEP, he finds the right conditions to strike.

ONE OFF (3) angled to the pegs last start from gate 10 to look for some short-cuts as GAME SET MAJOR took control in front and turned it into a last panel blitz. Closing nicely here 2 starts back when snagged back from gate 5 early, he can settle closer here and will throw down the challenge.

COOLIE KID (4) was sent forward to roll the sleeves and grind away outside the leader and proved too tough in claiming a 2nd division qualifier last week. He lands in a similar event back to the mile and can grind it out once again.

GOTTA MOMENT (9) looked well-placed here last week but off the inside gate never really looked comfortable in the run. Doing it tough here mid-week, he drops back to a 2nd division which might what he is looking for.

SELECTIONS: TACTICAL RESPONSE (5), ONE OFF (3), COOLIE KID (4), GOTTA MOMENT (9)
SUGGESTED BET: TACTICAL RESPONSE (5) to win

RACE EIGHT

BLUE MOON RISING (1) grabbed 3rd to DINA BOLT here 2 starts back when making a nice closing shot in a slick last panel. Beaten by gate 6 last start at Redcliffe when retreating to find position, he looks to get the ideal conditions here and can be coiled and ready to strike in the stretch.

CONVAIR HUSTLER (3) was out hustled in the early stages last start and was obliged to take the pocket trail over the mile. Best of the chasers behind the dictating winner IDEAL WORLD it had followed a 3m margin when locked away on the pegs. Settling close to the action, he can challenge.

BUKTHSYSTEM (9) is in career best form with 3 wins in his past 4 starts including a new PB rate last start in 1.55.3 when using the passing lane to defeat A RAINBOW DELIGHT. With even luck from the gate, he is a podium chance.

IFOUNDTHEBEACH (2) has faced some tough gates at his past 2 starts that have proven costly, the latest from gate 7 when just too far back in the pack. He can settle handy and closer to the action can be an improver.

SELECTIONS: BLUE MOON RISING (1), CONVAIR HUSTLER (3), BUKTHSYSTEM (9), IFOUNDTHEBEACH (2)
SUGGESTED BET: BLUE MOON RISING (1) to win

RACE NINE

These open class trots have been even contests of late and this shapes as being no different. After JEDDY R YA READY (2) was only 4.5m from the winner GEE UP NEDDY last week, he then went around mid-week when locked away on the pegs and requiring luck as SKYLINE scored. He looks suited by the conditions in this and gets his chance.

OUR OVERANOVA (10) was doing his best work in the closing stages last week when charging home from back in the pack to get within a half-neck of the winner GEE UP NEDDY. Best of the rest after doing it tough in the track record win by GREG THE GREAT the start prior, he keeps on keeping on.

GREG THE GREAT (6) was attacking the line strongly last start from his 20m tape and despite finishing 7th was only 5m from the winner. 3rd the start prior to WEE MAN TROUBLE, he is well-placed to make a strong play for the prize.

WEE MAN TROUBLE (8) had no luck here last start off the 20m tape when probing for openings but locked away in traffic. Finishing over the top of them the start prior, the 30m will make it tough.

SELECTIONS: JEDDY R YA READY (2), OUR OVERANOVA (10), GREG THE GREAT (6), WEE MAN TROUBLE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: JEDDY R YA READY (2) to win

RACE TEN

ITZ MAJOR RICH (2) made the most of gate 1 last time out to take them all the way when scoring a comfortable 6m victory with a strong closing half. Taking great experience from that run which was just his 2nd career start, it followed a tough effort on debut. He gets a chance to go back-to-back.

OUTA THE BLUE (4) will strip fitter following her return to the track here last time out when not having much luck in the run. Caught wide, she was snagged back to find position and then the tempo made it tough for the chasers. Showing good speed from off the pace thus far, she can challenge.

STOKER ACE (5) was locked away from inside the 2nd line last start and was making good ground in the closing stages when 3m from the winner HE AINT FAKIN. The gate stings, but he can feature.

PORTSEA PRINCE (1) was a winner 4 starts back when finding the front from gate 2 at Redcliffe and then holding on to claim a narrow victory. Well beaten at his next 2, he was an improver last start and is a podium hope from the gate.

SELECTIONS: ITZ MAJOR RICH (2), OUTA THE BLUE (4), STOKER ACE (5), PORTSEA PRINCE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ITZ MAJOR RICH (2) to win

RACE ELEVEN

SMART AS CAMM BE (7) ran some astonishing sections in defeat last week when charging home from back in the pack to finish 3rd to AMAZING DREAM. Clocked in 53.42 and 26.68 for the closing 800/400 splits it was a real eye-catcher. Despite the gate, she is unbeaten over the AP 2138m and looks set to continue that.

MADAMOISELLE JUJON (6) missed a top-two finish for the 1st time this season when mid-field behind AMAZING DREAM last week. Still making some strong metres in the closing stages, it was a tidy effort. Beaten the barest possible margin 2 starts back, she can chime into the cash.

MACH TORQUE (8) made the most of the return to Redcliffe last start to take them all the way from gate 1 over the 2040m. She just cannot land a marble to suit in these mares qualifiers but will fight.

KOTARE ELITE (5) has early speed and from the five-hole will have early bullets to fire. Best of the rest after setting the tempo before being grabbed by AMAZING DREAM, she will be in the mix.

SELECTIONS: SMART AS CAMM BE (7), MADAMOISELLE JUJON (6), MACH TORQUE (8), KOTARE ELITE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: SMART AS CAMM BE (7) to win
