RACE TWO

DANCINGINTHEDARK (5) was a winner here 3 starts back wen sent to the front from gate 3. Taking control, it was a steady tempo early before really dialling it up late to rip home a slick 27.9 closing panel. Runner-up in both starts at AP since, she can overcome the tough gate to take this.

SIXPENNY RED (8) tackled the Marburg to Albion Final last start when settling back in the field from the 2nd line. With the closing tempo up front making it tough for the chasing pack, she never really worked into the contest. A winner here 5 starts back, she will not be too far away.

SHEZ GOT BLING (4) held the pocket trail from inside the 2nd line at Marburg 2 starts back when taking the silver. Fading from gate 1 behind OUR RIDGY DIDGE last time, she can be sharper in this.

DUKE (3) will strip fitter from his latest appearance when 2nd up from a spell. Beaten by gate 7 when 2nd up and forced to retreat, he can settle closer this time and looms as a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: DANCINGINTHEDARK (5), SIXPENNY RED (8), SHEZ GOT BLING (4), DUKE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: DANCINGINTHEDARK (5) to win

RACE THREE

Another tough contest to dissect where the map looks tricky and the 2040m will also question the fortitude of a few of the combatants. With the chance of a cosy trip BERTILS DEIGHT (7) can look for open space in the stretch to arrive. A winner over the 1780m 2 starts back from the pocket trail, she will be relying on a rub of the green.

MISTER DECORUM (8) has been freshened since his last appearance when not that far from the winner FOUR STARZZZ FORSA. An effort like his performance here 4 runs back when sent to the breeze from the 2nd line and fighting hard to the wire can see him throw in a challenge against these.

GIGANTIC JASPER (5) was beaten a lip here 2 starts back when closing in late off the 2nd line over the sprint trip. Again, facing gate 9 last start he was trying to work into it late and with even luck can place again.

SUNDOWNER SHANNON (6) has no favours from the car-park yet he has faced some tough gates in 3 of his 4 starts since arriving in Qld. This does look slightly easier than recent outings and he can feature.

SELECTIONS: BERTILS DEIGHT (7), MISTER DECORUM (8), GIGANTIC JASPER (5), SUNDOWNER SHANNON (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

HIGH ON MONTANA (4)
looks to find suitable conditions here to break a win drought stretching back to February. Sent out as the punters elect here 2 starts back, he was working home strongly as DANCINGINTHEDARK was dictating out in front to grab the bronze. He can prove too strong in this.

JENUFLECTION (8) secured some running line cover last start and was best of the chasers to hold on for the silver when 7m in arrears of the winner ALL GOOD WALLY. Forget her run 2 starts back when striking trouble, with the right early trail here, she can look to ask some questions in the challenge.

READILY (1) has not hit the board for a long time and has looked to have had his chance in plenty of those. Once again, he looks to get an opportunity to recapture some form with the benefit of the gate and the opposition.

ROWDYS ACE (7) will be reliant on some luck and some factors to fall his way. That said he will receive an economical run in transit and look for the grey probing for the openings to join in.

SELECTIONS: HIGH ON MONTANA (4), JENUFLECTION (8), READILY (1), ROWDYS ACE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: HIGH ON MONTANA (4) to win

RACE FIVE

TAYLOR HOOD (4) rolled he sleeves to do it the tough way last start over the 2138m at The Creek and after the tough trip, could not go on with it in the stretch Only 2m in arrears via the passing lane 2 starts back, he can press forward here and looks to get his chance to capitalise.

BACK PAGE NEWS (1) set the tempo in the same contest where TAYLOR HOOD sat up outside him last time and a similar scenario looks on the cards here. Fading late, he should appreciate the return to The Triangle from this alley. Finding the claimers out of reach 2 starts back, he is right in the fight.

LUCKY LYLA (7) landed the ace last start and from the pocket trail used the passing lane to be only 3m from the winner MACH LE MORE in a blanket finish. With another cosy trip on offer, she can chime in.

OUR UNCLE JIM (5) will be 2nd up since joining the Trent Dawson barn and should find this a few shades below what he has been meeting. Not that far from HANDSOME HERO last time out in a qualifier, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: TAYLOR HOOD (4), BACK PAGE NEWS (1), LUCKY LYLA (7), OUR UNCLE JIM (5)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-4-5-7

RACE SIX

COBBLER LANE (5) finished best to score over the AP mile 2 starts back after restraining early from gate 5 to find position and then sweep home to score. Too far back against the tempo as ALBION ARK controlled it last time, he hast the wide gate but with a strong record at the track, can arrive.

STUDLEIGH WILL (1) has been to the well a few times since his last victory, but does look to come up with the right conditions for a breakthrough here. Forced to hang tough outside the leader last start from gate 5, he was not that far from them when 3rd at Marburg 2 starts back. The gate is a big plus.

WHATELEY (7) has recorded all 7 of his career wins here at The Triangle and 6 of those have been this season. Finishing best here 2 starts back to score, he maps for a great trip and will be slicing through late.

HESLUVABLE (4) angled to the pegs last start and when fed racetrack was attacking the line in nice order to be 3m in arrears of the winner. With even luck he can be chiming in late.

SELECTIONS: COBBLER LANE (5), STUDLEIGH WILL (1), WHATELEY (7), HESLUVABLE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: COBBLER LANE (5) to win

RACE SEVEN

PACIFIC COIN (4) was too far back in the pack to make a closing impression as the tempo favoured those up front over the sprint trip here 3 runs back. Tackling a 2nd division qualifier at his next outing, he was not that far away from the winner. 3rd last start from gate 6, he can settle close enough to capitalise.

BOULDER CITY (3) led them up last start over the AP 2138m trip, setting a solid tempo out in front. With no bullets left in the stretch, he faded as the swoopers arrived. Finishing strongly for the silver here 2 starts back over the sprint trip, the only concern looks the distance.

IM TOOT (1) retreated from gate 6 last start and was soon settled well back in the field and facing a task. Not too far away at Marburg the start prior, he placed his previous 3 in succession and the gate is a big help in this.

TINKA TERROR (9) held the pocket trail from gate 1 over the AP mile last start and held ground to claim the bronze behind ALBION ARK. The gate stings, but with even luck she is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: PACIFIC COIN (4), BOULDER CITY (3), IM TOOT (1), TINKA TERROR (9)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

With no luck at all in his Northern campaign, HIT THE TRACK (1) finally has the marble fall in his favour. Too far back at each of his past 2 when restraining from gate 7 in each, he was runner-up here 3 back when forced to grind hard in the breeze. The gate improvement can see his fortunes turn.

MONTANA LAD (9) did plenty of work in the run 2 starts back over the AP mile when pressing ahead to roll the sleeves and do it the tough way in fighting on for 2nd behind CALLMEDEMARO. He could not get into the contest last start and despite the tough gate again, can be making a challenge.

ROBINMEGOOD (8) has 2 wins in his past 4 starts, the latest coming via the passing lane at The Creek when making the closing shot a winning one. Arriving here 4 starts back, he can feature again.

GUTS (2) started just into red figures at Marburg 2 starts back when setting the tempo over the sprint trip. Unable to hold off ALLSTAR SEA, he held on for 3rd. Forget his last start, back to Redcliffe suits.

SELECTIONS: HIT THE TRACK (1), MONTANA LAD (9), ROBINMEGOOD (8), GUTS (2)
SUGGESTED BET: HIT THE TRACK (1) to win

RACE NINE

A KERRY MAN (1) is yet to hit the board since arriving in Qld yet snares his best gate to date. Working home from wide off the track here 2 starts back when 1m from the winner COBALT BLUES, he was then working hard in transit last start behind CALLMEDEMARO. The gate gives him every chance.

ARTISTIC SAINT (2) was buried away on the poles 2 starts back from inside the 2nd line and when finding the space, attacked the line in good order for 3rd to ROLL WITH ROCKY. Buried last start as STREET APPEAL cruised home to score, the improved gate is a big plus and he can throw it down.

JUST WON MORE (4) made an error last start that saw him banished to the trials. Earning the return in a strong AP trial, his effort here 2 back was strong when only a half-neck away. He is in the mix.

BIG IN AMERICA (8) found the front prior to releasing the pressure last start over the AP 2138m and was fighting hard to hold 4th behind BREACH THE BEACH. 3rd here 2 starts back, she is a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: A KERRY MAN (1), ARTISTIC SAINT (2), JUST WON MORE (4), BIG IN AMERICA (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TEN

MONTANA CHIEF (3) should appreciate returning to traverse the triangle after tackling some tougher contests at headquarters recently. Doing some early work last start when 8m in arrears, he was back in the pack chasing in vain behind ONE CHANGE the start prior. This looks ideal.

LITTLE CHANGE (9) was well-supported over the AP mile 2 starts back when making a strong closing challenge to be 4m in arrears of the winner. Not suited from gate 7 last start at NURBURGRING dictated in front, he has a tricky gate but also has a great record on this track. He can challenge.

BRIDGET BLUE CHIP (8) will take good benefit from her return to the track on Saturday when resuming from a spell. Settling a long way back, she was always facing a task against the tempo.

THREO (1) charged home from the rear to score here 6 starts back and has not been that far away in recent starts. Early speed will avail options and he can be in the mix.

SELECTIONS: MONTANA CHIEF (3), LITTLE CHANGE (9), BRIDGET BLUE CHIP (8), THREO (1)
SUGGESTED BET: MONTANA CHIEF (3) to win
