RACE TWO

Tricky trot to assess with those that will likely be favoured in the market all having poor or no exposed form numbers here on the triangle. MISS INVASION (3) has not had that problem with a top-3 in 50% of her 16 outings here. Finding the front prior to releasing and then only a neck away from AVEROSS DON last start, the front tape is a big plus and she can take this.

SKYLINE (4) has really found his rhythm this campaign to record 5 wins in his past 8 starts. Working forward from the 2nd line under mobile conditions last start, he worked to the front and once in control it was all over. Too strong in the breeze the start prior, this will be his 1st start on the track.

LANSBURY (1) was a tidy winner 4 starts back when 2nd up from a break to claim victory over the 2138m trip. Buried in the run last start and never a factor, she can secure a nice trail in behind.

IM THE COMMANDO (6) is in good touch with a top-three in 8 of his past 10, the latest when runner-up to OUR OVERANOVA. Closing hard the start prior, how he handles the triangle is the big query.

SELECTIONS: MISS INVASION (3), SKYLINE (4), LANSBURY (1), IM THE COMMANDO (6)
SUGGESTED BET: MISS INVASION (3) to win

RACE THREE

MISTER FINNIGAN (9) will strip fitter from his return to the track last time out when also stepping out for the Darren Weeks barn for the 1st time. Sent to the post in red figures, he was obliged to roll the sleeves and toil in the breeze when 1m from the passing lane winner OUR BALOU. Despite the gate, he strikes an easier line-up here.

NEWMERELLA MOLLY (2) will take benefit from her latest start when resuming from a spell without the benefit of a trial to prepare. Eased from gate 4 to find position, she was too far back in the pack to make a meaningful challenge. Her only run here at Redcliffe was from a tough gate and she can be sharper.

NAUGHTYINHEAVEN (3) was shooting for the hat-trick last start when banished to the trials. Leading all the way at both wins prior, she will have early bullets to fire to put herself in a forward position.

SHEZ ALL STYLE (6) resumes from a spell to take her 1st look at The Triangle. Beaten by gate 7 at her last appearance in a much stronger contest, she can look to chime in late against these opponents.

SELECTIONS: MISTER FINNIGAN (9), NEWMERELLA MOLLY (2), NAUGHTYINHEAVEN (3), SHEZ ALL STYLE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: MISTER FINNIGAN (9) to win

RACE FOUR

GIDUP CAPTAIN (3)
steps out for the Donny Smith yard for the 1st time to face the starter for the first time since June. Setting the tempo last start, he could not see it out when fading as CHAMONIX went on to claim victory. A smart trial winner here to prepare, he can look to open his account.

HAPPY PUBLICANS (7) was given a torrid trip last start when forced to work triple time wide off the track. Undeterred, he knuckled down for the fight and was only nabbed late by the swooping RINGOS A STAR. Doing it tough the start prior when runner-up to BONNIES A ROCKIN, he can challenge despite the gate.

FIRE EYES (1) has placed in both starts since returning from a spell, the latest when 3rd behind the smart filly DANCE IN THE SUN. A passing lane 3rd to BONNIES A ROCKIN 2 starts back, the gate helps.

OFFICE BADY BOY (6) is a Mr Feelgood gelding on debut for Peter Donohoe that has taken a few trials to get sorted. The latest trial was a tidy effort and keeps him under notice here where the placings look wide open.

SELECTIONS: GIDUP CAPTAIN (3), HAPPY PUBLICANS (7), FIRE EYES (1), OFFICE BADY BOY (6)
SUGGESTED BET: GIDUP CAPTAIN (3) to win

RACE FIVE

FAST IS BETTOR (8) has been in consistent touch in recent starts, landing in the top 3 at her past 4 in succession. Snagged back from gate 6 last start, she was a long way out of the ground when making a wide and searching run to get within 2m of the winner to claim the silver. This looks her chance.

SIXPENNY RED (5) found the 1x1 trail from the 2nd line last start over the 1780m trip. Making her challenge turning for home, she cruised up to put them away in nice style in claiming an 11m victory. Beaten by the gate and tempo the start prior, she can be chiming in late again here to challenge.

KWASII (6) has been runner-up at his past 2 starts, the latest when setting the tempo prior to being collared in the stretch by the smart looking LARRY LINCOLN. He can get forward early here.

GROOVY MISS ANNIE (1) has been in nice touch since returning to the Peter Greig barn to be in the money at 4 of her past 5, including a pair of victories. This is a step up, but the gate is a big plus.

SELECTIONS: FAST IS BETTOR (8), SIXPENNY RED (5), KWASII (6), GROOVY MISS ANNIE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: FAST IS BETTOR (8) to win

RACE SIX

MISTER COLE (7) will strip fitter following his return to the track last start. Forced to retreat to find position from gate 3, he was then too far back to issue a challenge when following them in behind ROCKS OR DIAMONDS. With the perfect trip looking on offer, he can take the snipers shot.

BONNIES CAM (1) has been in great touch since returning from a spell with 4 wins in his past 6 starts. Beaten by the widest gate last start at Marburg, the effort was full of merit when wide off the track and only beaten 5m. With early hustle, he can look to dictate.

SHADYS DELIGHT (4) didn’t have the closing speed last time out behind ROCKS OR DIAMONDS when it turned into a slick last panel from the front. Wide gates have hampered him prior and he has claims.

LITTLELIONEL JAMES (8) has a tidy record here at the triangle, hitting the board in 3 of his 4 outings. Only a half-neck from OUR BALOU last start over the AP mile, he will be right in the fight here.

SELECTIONS: MISTER COLE (7), BONNIES CAM (1), SHADYS DELIGHT (4), LITTLELIONEL JAMES (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-4-7-8

RACE SEVEN

This race looks a tricky contest to sort out with a few looking to recapture better days. Despite the wide gate NO DOUBT (6) might just have found the right type of contest for an overdue breakthrough. Closing nicely last start from a rearward position, he burnt the candle early and couldn’t last it out. He is worth a ticket.

JUST DALE (2) took the trail last start and fought on for the bronze behind the smart KIWIS ARE FLYING. 2nd line draws saw him down the line at his previous 2 starts, while 5 runs back he claimed a passing lane win over the AP mile. With early options from this gate, he can throw down a challenge.

ROLL WITH ROCKY (7) will be relying on some luck at some point to find some open road with a chance he is buried in transit. An all the way winner 2 starts back, he was only 2m away last start and just needs the space to be right in the fight.

NEWMERELLA LADYKAY (4) tackled a mares qualifier last start when finishing down the line after retreating from gate 6. Tough the start prior at Marburg behind IDEAL TIGER, she has claims here.

SELECTIONS: NO DOUBT (6), JUST DALE (2), ROLL WITH ROCKY (7), NEWMERELLA LADYKAY (4)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

OUR FRIEND (1) worked home wide off the track over the AP mile 3 starts back to descend upon them in a blanket finish and claim the prize at massive odds. Beaten in both starts since that win by some tough alleys, the effort has still been sound. With the improved gate he can look to dictate.

AMILLION PROMISES (9) has the smart record of 4 wins in 5 outings on this track and despite the 2nd line will appreciate some front-line tempo. Swooping strongly to score here 3 starts back when 1st up from a spell, he has finished runner-up in both runs since, the latest when close up to DINA BOLT.

HAVING THE FAITH (5) was shooting for the hat-trick last start when tackling a qualifier on Sat night. Doing some early work to get forward, he held 2nd to TACTICAL RESPONSE and can feature in this.

JEROSH (3) released the speed last start after finding the front from gate 4, going on to hold on for the bronze behind DINA BOLT. With early speed, he might create the space to find the trail.

SELECTIONS: OUR FRIEND (1), AMILLION PROMISES (9), HAVING THE FAITH (5), JEROSH (3)
SUGGESTED BET: OUR FRIEND (1) to win

RACE NINE

BRIDGET BLUE CHIP (5) has the tough gate and will need to work around them at some stage here, but she might just have enough of an edge to make it a successful move. Powering home to score over the sprint trip here last time out, it followed a strong 1st up run behind GAME SET MAJOR.

LITTLE CHANGE (8) was back in the pack and chasing home behind BRIDGET BLUE CHIP last time out when 9m in arrears. Beaten by a wide gate when forced to retreat the start prior behind NURBURGRING, it followed a hard finishing 3rd over the AP mile. He can throw down a challenge.

PARISIAN ROCKSTAR (2) does not venture to Redcliffe that frequently but does have a win here on the track. His race ended early last start, but with early speed he will have some options to feature here.

HAVANA MOON (7) is finishing his races strongly but just is not having much go his way. Gate 11 over the AP 2138m saw him too far back and his run was full of merit behind SMART AS CAMM BE the start prior. Just needs some space.

SELECTIONS: BRIDGET BLUE CHIP (5), LITTLE CHANGE (8), PARISIAN ROCKSTAR (2), HAVANA MOON (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TEN

DINA BOLT (5) was at his best last start when retreating from gate 7 before powering home over the top to claim a smart win over the AP mile. Runner-up the start prior when beaten a head behind the in-form BOMBADIER JUJON, he closed hard to score from the front 3 back. This is a step-up, but he looks to have the class to put them away.

MACH LE MORE (3) is appreciating his Qld trip, with 3 wins in his past 4 starts. Settling in the running line from gate 10 over he 2138m last start, he had too many bullets in arriving for the prize. Attacking the line strongly after retreating from gate 6 the start prior, he will give this a shake.

HARPAGUS (7) settled in the pocket trail last start from gate 1 before using the passing lane to grab the bronze behind the dictating winner THE DEMOCRAT. With the cosy trip, she will be probing.

ABRIDGED (1) has been to the track twice since joining the Dixon stable, the latest when trying to make late ground as MACH LE MORE arrives. With his best gate for some time, he can be sharper out in front.

SELECTIONS: DINA BOLT (5), MACH LE MORE (3), HARPAGUS (7), ABRIDGED (1)
SUGGESTED BET: DINA BOLT (5) to win
