RACE TWO

After a 7-week gap between starts with no trial to prepare JOHNNY WHITE (2) was hitting the line strongly last start despite the officially placing returning an 8. Sitting at the rear, he stuck to the inside in some slick closing panels. Despite having his 1st look at Redcliffe in this, he can settle close to the action and looks to get his chance.

COURAGEOUS SAINT (7) was 2nd up in Qld last time out when sent to the post a prohibitive short-priced elect over the 2138m trip. Looking to get them off the bit and chasing through a sub 28 closing panel, he could not stave off the flashing DAPPER. An easy winner when 1st up, he will be probing for gaps in this.

DAPPER (8) went to the pegs from gate 10 last start over the 2138m trip and was hoping for some short-cuts and luck. Both arrived and were aided by a neat steer to arrive for a half-neck victory. Not far away 2 starts back, he can feature.

THE DEMOCRAT (6) franked his effort of 2 starts back when attacking the line from a long way back when taking control in front last start. An easy winner once in control, the wide gate dents his chances.

SELECTIONS: JOHNNY WHITE (2), COURAGEOUS SAINT (7), DAPPER (8), THE DEMOCRAT (6)
SUGGESTED BET: JOHNNY WHITE (2) to win

RACE THREE

CALLMEDEMARO (1) has all the benefits and options from the ace. A winner 3 starts back when finishing over the top after an early speed battle set it up for the swoopers, he then tried to dictate over the 2138m in a 2md division qualifier stronger than this at his next run, grabbed in the closing stages by TACTICAL RESPONSE. He can capitalise here.

CAPTAIN COSMONAUT (3) will strip fitter from his latest outing when resuming from a spell. Holding the pocket trail from inside the 2nd line he made a closing dive up the passing lane when runner-up to BREACH THE BEACH. With early hustle out of the machine to find a forward position, he can throw down a challenge against these.

DAPPER BESSIE (7) eased from a wide gate over the AP 2138m trip last start when closing out strongly behind MILLWOOD TILLY. Hitting the line strongly the start prior behind ALBION ARK, she will be probing here.

RECIPE FOR DREAMING (9) tried to capitalise on the ace gate last start when setting the tempo and playing catch me if you can in front. Nabbed on the wire by RIVERLEIGH ROCKET, he can be chiming in late here.

SELECTIONS: CALLMEDEMARO (1), CAPTAIN COSMONAUT (3), DAPPER BESSIE (7), RECIPE FOR DREAMING (9)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

CLASSIE AMERICAN (2)
eased from gate 5 last start and was sound to the line behind DAPPER when just beyond mid-field. 3rd to the firing MAYWYNS BEST 3 starts back after finding the poles prior to releasing the speed, he was not suited at his next outing. From the gate in this line-up, he can get to the pegs 1st which gives him every chance.

LENNY THE LEGEND (7) added another minor to his tally last start as he continues to hit the board but just cannot find a victory that has eluded him for close to 2 years. Trying to take them all the way last start, he was grabbed late after being given the stare down in the run. He will need a slice of luck in transit here but can challenge if the gaps arrive.

KILLARA KAOS (3) has been in the money at his past 2 starts when gunned down while leading in both. The expense of a 26.4 opener proved too costly in the closing stages last start and the start prior he was nabbed right on the wire. This is his 1st outing on The Triangle.

HURRICANE ROY (5) features in a stable switch to join the Vicki Rasmussen barn as NSW visitor Scott Hewitt returns home. Closing strongly from gate 11 last start when not that far from the winner DAPPER, he just needs a barrier after a string of tough gates.

SELECTIONS: CLASSIE AMERICAN (2), LENNY THE LEGEND (7), KILLARA KAOS (3), HURRICANE ROY (5)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 2-3-5-7

RACE FIVE

MIZZZ ADELE (2) started from gate 5 last time out and was the engine on the 3-wide train, moving around them with a lap to travel over the 2040m. Sticking to her guns, she was strong to the line when 4m in arrears of the winner BREACH THE BEACH. Too strong 2 starts back over the AP 2138m trip, back to mares only company looks a big plus.

MADAMOISELLE JUJON (5) has missed the board just once in 11 outings here at Redcliffe and comes into this after finishing as the runner-up at her past 2 in mares qualifying events. Doing plenty of work to get forward from gate 7 last start, she was in for the fight when 1.5m from the passing lane winner HUNZA VALLEY. The gate stings, but she can ask the questions.

MAFFIOSO GIRL (4) found the pocket trail last start when making a closing dive in a blanket finish to be 1m from the winner JIVE. From gate 5 here 2 starts back she was 7m from the winner TAJIE BABY and can be thereabouts here.

FOR THE CORZ (1) makes her Qld debut for Narissa McMullen and will be returning from a spell with her last outing at Globe Derby back in May. Not asked for much in a recent trial behind the star TURN IT UP, the gate looks ideal.

SELECTIONS: MIZZZ ADELE (2), MADAMOISELLE JUJON (5), MAFFIOSO GIRL (4), FOR THE CORZ (1)
SUGGESTED BET: MIZZZ ADELE (2) to win

RACE SIX

OUR UNCLE ALAN (2) was asked to do it the tough way last start in a 2nd division qualifier that was tougher than this contest. Sitting outside the leader RECIPE FOR DREAMING, he had to dig in through a 1.54.1 mile, only fading late, but keeping a gap from the chasers. With 3 from 5 here on the triangle, he looks too strong for them.

ALWAYS AT NIGHT (1) looked to have found suitable conditions on Thursday here and comes up with another nice gate to challenge from in this. Hitting the line in nice style 2 starts back behind SONNY ORLANDO, he comes up with what looks the prefect trip to be in the money.

PACIFIC COIN (3) is another on the back-up from Thursday where he looked to face a task. 3 starts back he held on for 3rd behind the tear-away winner MONTANA EXPRESS which followed a 3rd. He can feature.

ROCKNTINIGIRA (8) started from inside the 2nd line last start when trying to launch a closing raid, only to be left 5m from the winner MILLWOOD TILLY. With the right early trail, he can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: OUR UNCLE ALAN (2), ALWAYS AT NIGHT (1), PACIFIC COIN (3), ROCKNTINIGIRA (8)
SUGGESTED BET: OUR UNCLE ALAN (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

With the hoof and the hopples on the ‘till at present, PINUP BOY (7) has been finishing his races strongly in recent outings. Last time out over the 2138m, he sat near the rear from gate 11 and made a long and sustained sprint to get within 3m of the winner. With his past 3 from the 2nd line, he will be sweating on a good trip and with a record of 2 from 3 at this track can look to add another.

MACH LE MORE (4) has been in superb touch, hitting the board in all 6 starts since arriving in Qld. Starting fav here on Tues from gate 3, he was only 3m from the handy winner DINA BOLT. Finishing hard from the 2nd line to score a smart win 2 starts back over the 2138m, it had followed a strong win over the AP mile. Settling handy, he can challenge.

ITZ MY GENERATION (1) eased from gate 5 last start to find position when settling back in the field. Closing soundly to be mid-field behind BUMPER, it had followed a strong win. Backing up from Thursday here when landing gate 8, he has the options in this.

JUST JOSHIN (8) held the pocket trail from inside the 2nd line last start when making a closing dive to get within a head of the winner. Strong in the breeze the start prior behind the smart performer GAME SET MAJOR, he is in the fight.

SELECTIONS: PINUP BOY (7), MACH LE MORE (4), ITZ MY GENERATION (1), JUST JOSHIN (8)
SUGGESTED BET: PINUP BOY (7) to win

RACE EIGHT

COMMODORE JUJON (1) has been knocking on the door of claiming a qualifying win and looks to have found the conditions to capitalise here. Angled to the pegs last start for the short-cuts, he was not far from the winner TACTICAL RESPONSE. With a superb record here at the Peninsula, he gets every chance.

STREET APPEAL (8) looked to take them all the way last start from the ace over the mile but after a big 2nd stanza breather, could not finish the off when 4m away, missing the placings. Finishing over the top of them the start prior to overcome some sub-par efforts, he is right in the fight, the only nagging concern is his record on this surface.

RIVERLEIGH ROCKET (2) had been finishing his races strongly in recent outings and was rewarded for those efforts last time out. After a nice run in transit, he made the closing shot a winner and with speed off the arm can fire early bullets in this.

GOTTA MOMENT (5) was sent to the front last start over the 2138m trip and with a strong middle half was able to break free and maintain the rage in claiming a 3m victory. He can be a little hot and cold but can be in the mix.

SELECTIONS: COMMODORE JUJON (1), STREET APPEAL (8), RIVERLEIGH ROCKET (2), GOTTA MOMENT (5)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-5-8

RACE NINE

WITH THE BAND (4) has faced the starter twice since returning from a spell and been slammed with 2nd line gates on both occasions. Settling back in the pack from gate 11 over the 2138m trip, she was strong to the line in some smart closing panels. Yet to miss the board here at Redcliffe from 4 starts, this looks hers to take.

UNCLE JORD (6) did all the bullocking work last start over the 2138m trip when sent to the breeze from gate 7. Rolling the sleeves and doing it the tough way, he was game when only beaten a head when nabbed by HANDSOME HERO. Having his first look at this track, he can throw it down again.

LEFT A TERROR (1) lands his best gate since returning from a spell ad has the options from the ace. A passing lane 2nd 2 starts back behind HAVING THE FAITH, he was not suited last start. The podium beckons.

STOMPEM (5) eased from gate 6 over the 2040m trip here on Tuesday when looking to find a way home late. Finishing 9m from the winner LITTLE CHANGE, he can chime in late in this.

SELECTIONS: WITH THE BAND (4), UNCLE JORD (6), LEFT A TERROR (1), STOMPEM (5)
SUGGESTED BET: WITH THE BAND (4) to win
