RACE TWO

GOTTA BEAUTY (1) started from the 2nd line when making her debut last start. Wide off the track over the closing stages, she was strong to the line to grab the silver when only a half-head in arrears of the winner. With the improved alley, she lands her chance to open the account.

KALANI (5) started from inside the 2nd line when on debut and was soon shuffled back along the inside and chasing in vain. From gate 8 at his 2nd appearance, he was chasing hard to grab the silver behind subsequent winner MISSTREPO. Despite the wide gate, he sees the front line which helps.

INZANIGHT (8) started from the 2nd line on debut when sent around them early to find the breeze. Still with plenty to learn she will take advantage from the run and can be an improver in this.

COCONUT CUTIE (2) held the 1x1 trail last start when midfield to GOTTA GO MILKING. Working home to grab the silver the start prior behind MULLUM BOY, she is a podium chance here.

SELECTIONS: GOTTA BEAUTY (1), KALANI (5), INZANIGHT (8), COCONUT CUTIE (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

GO AWAY (9)
started from inside the 2nd line last start and holding the pocket trail needed to maintain her momentum but just had to ease slightly. Holding on for the bronze, her previous 2 starts were in much stronger events and with even luck here looks to get a chance to cash-in.

LEFTMEATTHEBAR (8) angled to the poles from the 2nd line here 2 starts back and closed out in nice order to grab the bronze. Eased from the six-hole last start to secure position, he was wide off the track when joining in when arriving in time to score. He can look to make a closing challenge again.

FAVREAU (3) was a winner here 3 starts back when settling in the running line from the 2nd line gate and then finishing over the top. He should appreciate the improved gate against this line up.

RAINBOW JET (7) has not had much go his way in recent starts in much stronger races and faces a tricky gate here. Down the line behind THE RACONTEUR last start, he is up to this if seeing space.

SELECTIONS: GO AWAY (9), LEFTMEATTHEBAR (8), FAVREAU (3), RAINBOW JET (7)
SUGGESTED BET: GO AWAY (9) to win

RACE FOUR

ABBEY DIADEMA (9)
started from inside the 2nd line last start and was soon hemmed away 3 back as THEMIDNIGHTRAMBLER controlled it out in front. Making a late play when the gap arrived to grab the silver, it followed a luckless run over the 2040m. She can make a closing play here in an open contest.

BARBOO (5) was sent to the post as fav last start and did some early work before catching cover and then trying to join in when 3m in arrears of the winner. Placed in 3 of his previous 4 starts, he tried to take them all the way 2 starts back but was gunned down. The gate stings but he can make a play.

ILLBEWATCHING (7) has no favours from this alley as he goes in search of a hat-trick of victories. Rolling forward from outside the front-line last time, he proved too strong. If the luck arrives, so can he.

WILD ABOUT TOWN (3) was sent to the front last time from gate 2 and looked to go all the way but could not see it out in holding 2nd. If he can get across here, he can be thereabouts once again.

SELECTIONS: ABBEY DIADEMA (9), BARBOO (5), ILLBEWATCHING (7), WILD ABOUT TOWN (3)
SUGGESTED BET: ABBEY DIADEMA (9) to win

RACE FIVE

With successive wins here at The Triangle at her past 2 starts, SHEZ GOT BLING (2) comes up with the right gate to search for the hat-trick. Eased from gate 6 to secure position last time, she had the bullets to fire in the stretch and blazed her way down the outside to score. She can repeat the dose.

FORTYFIVE ROCK (5) is never too far away in this grade and looks to have the required early hustle to assume control here. Asked to grind it out in the death chair last start, he was game in holding on for 3rd. A winner from the front end 3 starts back, he will throw it down in this.

GWENDALION (6) found her race last time out from the 2nd line and with a well-timed challenge swept on by to claim a big 14m victory. The gate stings but she can be joining into the battle here.

MAJOR GRANDEUR (1) has slowly built his race fitness after 3 runs back from a long break and lines up here after finishing 2nd at his past 2. Only a half-head away last start, he will be probing.

SELECTIONS: SHEZ GOT BLING (2), FORTYFIVE ROCK (5), GWENDALION (6), MAJOR GRANDEUR (1)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-5-6

RACE SIX

JOEY LINCOLN (8)
has been to the track on 4 occasions since resuming from a spell and last start came to The Triangle searching for an easier assignment. Beaten for early speed, he was a long way back in the pack but showed good closing hustle to be midfield. Settling closer, he can sneak away with this.

DUKE (1) will be further tightened from his latest outing when 2nd up from a break. Placed in both runs since resuming, he was making some late metres after being locked away last start as THEMIDNIGHTRAMBLER controlled it in front. With an improved gate he can make his presence felt.

RISKY BUZINESS (7) sat on the back of the leader here 2 runs back and with the economical trip was able to finish over the top for the prize. Gunned down over the 2040m last time, he will be probing.

TORQUE IN CONTROL (5) was trying to wind up to make a closing play last start when finishing 8m in arrears of the winner NON PASSARE. Tackling stronger opponents 2 starts back, she can join in.

SELECTIONS: JOEY LINCOLN (8), DUKE (1), RISKY BUZINESS (7), TORQUE IN CONTROL (5)
SUGGESTED BET: JOEY LINCOLN (8) to win

RACE SEVEN

NON PASSARE (1)
started from this gate over this trip 2 starts back when taking the trail and then trying to mount a late rally went within a half-head of the winner. Firing out from the two-hole before tucking in last time, he went one better to land the loot. With the options he can repeat.

VANISH HANOVER (4) eased from this gate last start and soon found herself back in the field and needing some luck. Midfield behind the winner QUICK STEP, she had chased that same mare home the start prior. Relying on some tempo, if it presents, she can be charging home late here.

BONNIES CAM (5) put the writing on the wall with a strong closing challenge here 2 starts back to grab 2nd and franked that when swooping hard to score last time out. The gate stings but he is up to the task.

ESTARDAY (2) was luckless here 2 starts back from inside the 2nd line and could not get the space to make a decent challenge. Not suited last time over the AP 2138m, she can feature from this alley.

SELECTIONS: NON PASSARE (1), VANISH HANOVER (4), BONNIES CAM (5), ESTARDAY (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

ROYAL OBSESSION (5)
is yet to cash-in here but has managed to place in 2 of his 4 attempts. Kept fresh since his last outing when charging hard in the closing stages from a long way back to grab 2nd when only beaten a head, he can make the closing challenge a winning one here.

BARKWAY ARNOLD (1) is 1 for 1 here at Redcliffe with that win coming in a 947m Trot Rods event when charging home late to arrive. That was 2 starts back and last time out over the AP mile was only 3m in arrears of the subsequent winner THE ROCKNROLL KING. The gate gives him a chance.

CHANCELESS CENTURY (8) circled them from the 2nd line last start to get outside the leader over this trip and was in for the fight when only a neck shy of the winner. He can feature again in this line up.

BETTOR MEMORIES (7) looked to have found her race over the AP mile 2 starts back and was the punters elect when finishing midfield. With the cosy trip, she can be joining in late in this.

SELECTIONS: ROYAL OBSESSION (5), BARKWAY ARNOLD (1), CHANCELESS CENTURY (8), BETTOR MEMORIES (7)
SUGGESTED BET: ROYAL OBSESSION (5) to win

RACE NINE

SIMON (9) was 2nd up in Qld last time out when settling at the rear of the pack in a qualifier over the mile. Moving up wide off the track to make a challenge, he was squeezed up slightly and did not fully finish it off. Taking his 1st look at this track, there looks enough front-end speed for him to arrive.

ARK ME (1) looks set enjoy the prefect trip in behind the speed here and if hitting the passing lane with momentum will take some stopping. Eased to find a spot last time out over the 2138m at The Creek, she could not get warm and back to The Triangle where her record is strong can see her challenge hard.

COLOMBIAN GOLD (2) tried to take them all the way last start and setting a strong tempo in front was only collared in the latter stages when 3m away. With the early hustle, she will be gripping on.

JOANNIES GIRL (8) faded last start after beating herself when working hard and keen in the run. Searching for a gap sooner than it arrived the start prior behind SCARLET BABE, she can chime in.

SELECTIONS: SIMON (9), ARK ME (1), COLOMBIAN GOLD (2), JOANNIES GIRL (8)
SUGGESTED BET: SIMON (9) to win

RACE TEN

This looks a good battle to close the card where the mare MISSTREPO (7) will be relying on the 1 getting her to the passing lane with momentum. That scenario can eventuate and with good speed when saved for a closing shot like she displayed 2 starts back when scoring, she can arrive.

FOUR FOR FOUR (1) rolled forward to sit parked last start and was game in defeat when holding on for the bronze as THE ROCKROLL KING descended on them late. Closing late for 2nd here 3 starts back, she has early hustle and if able to pinch a panel in front will take some stopping.

SIR BULSKI (3) is in great touch of late with 4 wins in his past 5 appearances. Sent straight to the front from the four-hole last start, he controlled it in front to take them all the way. He is right in the fight once again.

GET READY TO ROCK (2) was sent to the post as the favourite last start over the AP 2138m and pressing on to take control was trying to fight them off late. Only beaten a half-neck, it followed a nose 2nd, and she will be right there once again.

SELECTIONS: MISSTREPO (7), FOUR FOR FOUR (1), SIR BULSKI (3), GET READY TO ROCK (2)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-3-7
