RACE ONE

CHARM OFFENSIVE (7) will be requiring a slice of luck to be on her side but with the right trip can be dressed and ready to dance up the passing lane. A smart winner in front here five runs back, she has been thereabouts with not much in her favour in the runs since.

ROSARITO (2) started from inside the second line at his first appearance here in Qld and was soon buried in the run as MISTER HART controlled it in front. Arriving over the AP mile at his second up outing, he was chasing against the tempo last start. From this gate he can throw down a challenge.

PARAMA (1) closed smartly behind the flying CLASSIE WASHINGTON last start. With a disrupted campaign that has included tough gates, the opportunity to get tight to the poles looks ideal.

FOUR STARZZZ FORSA (5) should appreciate this class of contest after meeting some tougher opponents in recent outings, the latest when beaten a pimple. He can feature despite the gate.

SELECTIONS: CHARM OFFENSIVE (7), ROSARITO (2), PARAMA (1), FOUR STARZZZ FORSA (5)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-5-7

RACE TWO

THERESACHANCE (2) was asked to hang tough when parked out last start over the AP mile when tackling a qualifier and the tough trip took its toll when fading. Sent to sit parked the start prior from the second line when sent forward, he can look to cross and from the front would be hard to stop.

FIRE AND ICE (1) fired out from gate 2 last start to control the speed and after walking them through the first panel of the 2040m trip, started to dial it up. Grabbed right on the wire by BEJIGGITY up the lane, he comes up with the options here to challenge once again.

ETERNAL GOLD (6) found the pocket trail from this same gate last start when a first turn scrimmage opened the field up. The cosy trip allowed him to arrive to take his record to 3 from 4 on this deck.

FLO RYDA (9) was sent out the even money favourite last start from gate 4 and after retreating could not get warm over the closing stages when 6m from the winner. Trailing through can help here.

SELECTIONS: THERESACHANCE (2), FIRE AND ICE (1), ETERNAL GOLD (6), FLO RYDA (9)
SUGGESTED BET: THERESACHANCE (2) to win

RACE THREE

ROCKNHOLME (5)
was second up from a spell from gate 6 here tow runs back when sent forward to sit parked and able to graft out the victory with a 2m margin. Eased from the wide gate last start to settle rearward, he was picking up some good metres late and might just be able to pinch this.

I AM SPARTA (2) raced twice last week and found a way to throw it away in both- when jumping a shadow when going to lead easily here at the sprint trip and then at headquarters when drifting up the track and losing the race in the steward’s room. He can take this but will he?

LETSPLAYUNI (1) eased from gate 6 last start to settle at the rear before charging home in the closing stages to sweep by and claim a 6m winning margin. The gate is a big plus.

ZARAS A TREASURE (8) held the pocket trail from inside the second line last start when grabbing 3rd. She took them all the way last start and can trail through to settle handy for this assignment.

SELECTIONS: ROCKNHOLME (5), I AM SPARTA (2), LETSPLAYUNI (1), ZARAS A TREASURE (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

SHARP SHOOTER (1)
made the most of a good alley here two starts back when firing out from gate 3 to find the front and once in control took them all the way with over 6m to spare. Eased from gate 7 last start over the AP mile, he never got a crack at them. He has the options to hit the target.

CRADLE OF FIRE (3) made his Qld debut in a Trot Rods heat last week when settling behind the leader and issuing a closing raid to be 3m from the winner in 2nd place. Back to the traditional format from this gate, he can be close enough to the speed to challenge.

MI FURIOSO TORO (6) faded after the tough trip when parked last start over the AP mile which followed a midfield return when a beaten fav over this trip. He will make a play at some stage.

MONTEREY JACK (2) did it the tough way last start when sitting parked and was in for the fight when grinding out the narrowest of 2nd placed finishes. He can again be in for the fight.

SELECTIONS: SHARP SHOOTER (1), CRADLE OF FIRE (3), MI FURIOSO TORO (6), MONTEREY JACK (2)
SUGGESTED BET: SHARP SHOOTER (1) to win

RACE FIVE

GOING GREAT GUNS (2) was setting the speed last time out over the AP mile and was in front deep into the stretch when collared up the passing lane by ALWAYSBME. A tough 3rd from gate 5 here three runs back behind ZARAS A TREASURE, he gets every chance to take them all the way.

BETTOR ROCKNROLL (5) was snagged back to the rear last start and was a long way off the leader. Not receiving the cleanest passage home, he was picking them off late, hitting the line in nice style as ALWAYSBME landed the winning blow. He can be closing out again.

CANDYKANE (1) has been runner-up at her past two starts, the latest when looking to take them all the way from this same gate and under 3m from the winner. From the gate she is right in the mix.

JEREMES GOTTA GO (3) showed early hustle to get across to the pegs before taking a seat last start and then had the closing speed to arrive for the prize. She can be close enough to feature again.

SELECTIONS: GOING GREAT GUNS (2), BETTOR ROCKNROLL (5), CANDYKANE (1), JEREMES GOTTA GO (3)
SUGGESTED BET: GOING GREAT GUNS (2) to win

RACE SIX

ROLLONX (1)
was sent forward and content to keep rolling one off the markers before pulling clear to claim a Trot Rods heat two starts back. Spearing out from gate 4 last start at the 1780m, he was trying to take them all the way when nabbed in the last strides. He has the options to arrive.

BAILEYS WITH LEGS (4) was building towards a victory after placing in 6 of her previous 8 appearances for the season when sent forward from gate 5 last time out. Finding the front she was able to control the tempo and last the trip to claim the win. She has the gate to throw it down again.

BETTING BARON (3) held the pocket trail from inside the second line last time out and was able to hold on for bronze behind BETTOR MEMORIES. Settling close again here can see him feature.

CALL ME TRISH (9) was a winner from this gate three starts back when working home over the top of them for a smart victory. This looks a shade easier than recent tasks and she is right in the fight.

SELECTIONS: ROLLONX (1), BAILEYS WITH LEGS (4), BETTING BARON (3), CALL ME TRISH (9)
SUGGESTED BET: ROLLONX (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

ALL THE FOURS (4)
started from inside the second line over the AP mile last start and was angled away from the poles, settling in the one wide line at the rear of the pack. Watching all the action unfold, he was only asked to sprint up the stretch, arriving in smart order. He can swoop again.

BETTOR KEEP ROCKING (6) faces a tough ask from the outside paint but will strip fitter following his last start when resuming from a spell for his first Qld appearance. Settling in the 1x1 trail in that contest, he was just a half-head from the winner and can look to challenge despite the gate.

STUDLEIGH MARK (8) has hit the board in 4 of his 7 outings here on The Triangle and will bring a last start Marburg 2nd on his form card. Grabbed late on that same track three starts back, he has claims.

DOOLITTLE DEXTER (1) was sent to sit parked from gate 5 last start and despite the tough trip was able to hold on for a narrow victory. With the options he can be thereabouts in this tougher contest.

SELECTIONS: ALL THE FOURS (4), BETTOR KEEP ROCKING (6), STUDLEIGH MARK (8), DOOLITTLE DEXTER (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ALL THE FOURS (4) to win

RACE EIGHT

JOEY LINCOLN (1)
was a beaten fav here two starts back when going off stride which saw him settle at the rear of the pack and face a task too great when 8m in arrears. Down the line last start over the AP mile, he finds the gate to capitalise here.

REMEMBER EVE (6) arrived in Qld a maiden and lies up here at her third attempt on The Triangle looking to make it a hat-trick of victories. Finding the front in both wins, she had 9m to spare last start and despite the tough gate will be throwing it down hard.

JET FORCE (4) was hemmed away on the poles over the AP mile two starts back and held on for the bronze when 3m from the winner GETALOADATHISBRO. Not too far away of late, he is in the mix.

MY ULTIMATE HESTON (3) angled to the poles last start from gate 8 and was taking the cheap way home to grab 3rd. Settling close to the action can see him feature again here.

SELECTIONS: JOEY LINCOLN (1), REMEMBER EVE (6), JET FORCE (4), MY ULTIMATE HESTON (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

KIMMIK (1)
will be further tightened from her latest offering when third up from a spell. Tackling a the AP mile, she held the front before releasing to then be under 6m from the winner. Runner-up two starts back at Marburg, she has the gate and the options to capitalise.

A GOOD IDEAL (3) arrives back in Qld for a tilt at victory after his recent efforts in the New England have failed to snare a return. With good speed off the arm, his record on this trick is tidy with 3 wins and 3 minors in 10 attempts.

GETALOADATHISBRO (6) has been a model of consistency, hitting the board at his past 6 in succession, the latest a smart effort from outside the front line over the AP mile. He can feature.

JILLIBY GIZMO (7) will be tucked in behind the action here awaiting the gaps to make a play. Runner-up at his past two in succession, the latest when beaten a lip, he will be searching.

SELECTIONS: KIMMIK (1), A GOOD IDEAL (3), GETALOADATHISBRO (6), JILLIBY GIZMO (7)
SUGGESTED BET: KIMMIK (1) to win

RACE TEN

HATTIE (1)
finally broke through for her first Qld victory when settling in the trail over the 2138m at headquarters and owning the best closing speed when angled into space. Beaten by the 30m tape last time, she can settle close to the action from the ace to look for Qld win 2.

AVEROSS DON (4) stepped cleanly last start and when the field settled in to pattern he was buried three back. Only 8m from the winner JANSSON, he struck trouble the start prior and although he is yet to win from the mobile, he can make a challenge to change that here.

PADDY PANTS (7) is still a maiden after 8 attempts but should take some benefit from his first up run at The Creek last start. Locked away on that occasion, the mobile and easy trip should suit.

VALLEY ESS JAY (5) was only 4m in arrears of the winner last start after coming from the 20m tape as HATTIE arrived off the front strand. Winless in over 12 months, he has claims here.

SELECTIONS: HATTIE (1), AVEROSS DON (4), PADDY PANTS (7), VALLEY ESS JAY (5)
SUGGESTED BET: HATTIE (1) to win
