RACE TWO

ELLE JAY (2)
has a super record here at Marburg and comes up with the right gate to suit her style of pressing forward to dictate proceedings. Not suited at The Triangle last start when retreating from a wider alley and locked away on the poles, conditions look ideal for her to add another to the tally.

DALLAS COWGIRL (4) was sent forward from outside the 2nd line last start and was working triple time wide off the track to get up and sit parked. The extra effort took a toll as she faded and if able to get forward with less expense, she can look to issue the challenge.

QUALITY TIME (3) started off the 2nd line last start and from back in the pack never really got into the battle. From this gate he can get closer to the action to press for a podium finish.

LITTLEDEE (6) will be needing a slice of luck at some stage from this alley as she will be buried in the run. Runner-up at her past 2 outings including to the subsequent winner SPEED OF SOUND, she will be probing.

SELECTIONS: ELLE JAY (2), DALLAS COWGIRL (4), QUALITY TIME (3), LITTLEDEE (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

HESLUVABLE (7)
was soon buried away from the 2nd line at Redcliffe over the sprint trip last time out and never warmed up in the closing stages. Not too far from the subsequent winner NON PASSSARE the start previous, he has finished top-2 in 4 of his 7 on this track and strikes an open and winnable contest.

COURAGEOUS WAYS (8) was sent forward to sit parked over the Redcliffe 1780m at their non-TAB meeting on Tuesday and after doing it the hard way was still giving to hold 3rd when 2.5m in arrears. Wide off the track the start prior, she has placed in both starts on this track and will throw it down.

CAMPBELL BEST (1) had just 2 runs back from a long break and has since been kept fresh from his latest offering. With early speed, he can take control here and with a lack of pressure be gripping on.

GHOST GUM (4) was angled to the pegs last start from the 2nd line and never found the space to have a decent shot. Buried the start prior, he can be making a closing play in this line up.

SELECTIONS: HESLUVABLE (7), COURAGEOUS WAYS (8), CAMPBELL BEST (1), GHOST GUM (4)
SUGGESTED BET: HESLUVABLE (7) to win

RACE FOUR

JEWEL OF PEAK (1)
has a terrific record here when leading and comes up with the perfect alley to match the pattern. An all the way winner over the AP mile 5 starts back, all 4 of her subsequent starts have been in mare’s qualifiers, placing in two of those. She can take them all the way.

SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (7) was building up to a win after 3 successive placed efforts, including a head 2nd to the subsequent winner WESTAR SAM. Firing out from gate 4 at Redcliffe last start, he found the front before releasing and then took the closing shot to score in slick time over the 1780m. Look for him charging home.

TEARAWAY DIAMOND (3) has 2 wins in his past 3 starts, with both victories here on this track. Too strong wide out over the 2200 3 runs back, he grafted it out from the breeze 2 runs back and looks set to be working in this.

ROYAL OBSESSION (6) will be searching for the gaps as he looks set to be buried in behind the speed. Striking trouble last start, he can be chiming in.

SELECTIONS: JEWEL OF PEAK (1), SO BOBS YOUR UNCLE (7), TEARAWAY DIAMOND (3), ROYAL OBSESSION (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

ALTANA BLUE (3) settled in the running line last start over the 2138m when finishing in the second half of the pack as SENSE OF OCCASION claimed the prize. Grinding it out when parked the start prior, he can press forward from this alley and back the smaller track looks to get his chance.

HEADWIN (8) is better suited when up on the speed but still finds a race where he can be a player despite the gate. Too far back in the pack last start when retreating from gate 5 over the Redcliffe sprint trip, he is a four-time winner on this tack and can make a challenge.

JOY MAKER (2) was returning from a spell last start when sent to the front over the AP 2138m trip. Wilting late, she will take benefit from the outing and back to the 1850m looks more suitable.

CIRCLE LINE (7) has placed at his past 2 outings, the latest when hitting the line in good order when 4m from the winner TRUE STEPPER. Pressing through to hold position, he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: ALTANA BLUE (3), HEADWIN (8), JOY MAKER (2), CIRCLE LINE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: ALTANA BLUE (3) to win

RACE SIX

DOWNTOWN LUCCA (1)
needed to find space about 10m sooner at Redcliffe last start and that would have been enough for him to arrive in time, only beaten a neck after being buried in transit. Eased from gate 5 to be rearward the start prior, he has the gate to capitalise.

FAVREAU (6) settled in the trail from gate 1 last time out over the AP mile and in a blanket finish, was officially 6th but just 3.5m from the winner. Making a strong closing at Redcliffe the start prior, he should get the soft trip here and will be searching for track to make a challenge.

DOOLITTLE DANDY (8) was buried away against the pegs last start at Redcliffe and with a scrimmage in the back straight decimating the field, he found the gaps to land a winning shot. He can chime in again here.

MANOFLISA (2) made the most of the gate and small field to take them all the way at Redcliffe 2 starts back. The 2nd line was his undoing last time and from this alley he can make a play.

SELECTIONS: DOWNTOWN LUCCA (1), FAVREAU (6), DOOLITTLE DANDY (8), MANOFLISA (2)
SUGGESTED BET: DOWNTOWN LUCCA (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

NEWMERELLA LADYKAY (1)
cashed in off the perfect trip behind the speed to zip through along the passing lane and claim a mares qualifier last start. Strong to the line the start prior behind REMEMBER BUBBLES, she comes up with all the favours here.

OCEAN LANE (7) resumes from a spell, shut down following her last outing at Redcliffe back in July when fading after setting the speed. With a smart trial in readiness for the return she can challenge.

PACIFIC COIN (4) has the wider gate to negotiate on a track where he has placed on 4 of the 8 occasions he has raced here. Freshened since his last run, he can feature in this line up.

IMA BIRUBI BOY (6) should secure the ideal trip from this gate and will be searching for space to make a play. A winner from this gate 3 runs back when swooping wide, he will be probing.

SELECTIONS: NEWMERELLA LADYKAY (1), OCEAN LANE (7), PACIFIC COIN (4), IMA BIRUBI BOY (6)
SUGGESTED BET: NEWMERELLA LADYKAY (1) to win

RACE EIGHT

MAFFIOSO GIRL (1)
is a three-time winner here at Marburg, with each of those wins coming when leading throughout. A 2nd line gate was compounded by an error last start, while 2 starts back she set the speed at The Triangle when nailed on the wire. From gate 1, this is right in the wheelhouse.

SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (6) did some early work to secure position last start over the Redcliffe sprint trip but was unable to go with them when the sprint went on as BONNIES CAM led throughout. From this alley he can get the economical trip and be searching for some open road.

WESTERN SHOWGIRL (4) will take further benefit from her latest offering when 2nd up from a break. Returning when charging home for the silver, she was 2m from ROCKSLIDE last time.

ARTISTIC SAINT (5) has no favours drawn wide off the track here and last start at Redcliffe he snagged back from outside the front line. With an even slice of luck, he is a podium chance.

SELECTIONS: MAFFIOSO GIRL (1), SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (6), WESTERN SHOWGIRL (4), ARTISTIC SAINT (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

TINGE OF FEAR (1)
is yet to open her account in Qld but has finished as the runner-up in 3 of her past 4 starts. Starting fav last start, she was setting a strong tempo out in front but was unable to maintain the rage, wilting under the toll. That was at 2200m and a return to the sprint trip looks ideal.

PEBBLE SANDS (3) has been kept fresh since his last appearance when tackling the 2138m at The Creek when locked away from inside the 2nd line. Grabbed in the closing strides 3 starts back when setting the speed, he can get forward to do it the tough way to throw down the challenge.

FEELINGFORAMIRACLE (7) has had just the solitary start here at Marburg with that run back in 2019. Fading over the 2138m last start when leading, he should find this much easier and has podium claims.

IFOUNDTHEBEACH (8) eased from gate 3 here last start before trying to make a closing play but was unable to reel them in. Wide off the track last start, he will be chiming in.

SELECTIONS: TINGE OF FEAR (1), PEBBLE SANDS (3), FEELINGFORAMIRACLE (7), IFOUNDTHEBEACH (8)
SUGGESTED BET: TINGE OF FEAR (1) to win
