Ladies Bracelet Raceday | Day 1

115th annual two day professional race meeting. Kicks off Wednesday evening with pig races, children’s fancy dress and sports Thursday, Formal Ball Thursday night, races Friday, Friday night Priscilla Queen of the Desert adults fancy dress, Saturday races and presentation of Lyndhurst Shield winner and leading Trainer and Jockey. Music every night. Fashions on the Field both days. Check out our Facebook page and web page for up to the minute information. A wonderful family orientated week of fun steeped in tradition.

The Oak Park Races are held each year at Oak Park station, situated off the road which joins the Lynd Junction and Hughenden. It is approximately 80km south of the Lynd Junction in Far North Queensland.

The races are usually held on the first weekend of July. There are activities for all the family to enjoy in the week leading up to the races which are normally run on the Friday and Saturday. Kids and Adults Fancy Dress, a formal Ball, Fashions on the Field for both race days and much more.
