Shoulda to Shoulda  Saddle shifted back after the start, placing its rider, in some difficulty. Around the home turn and into the straight the saddle shifted back further and down the off-side of the horse, causing the rider to lose balance and eventually falling off her mount at the 200 metre mark.   Gympie  11/04/2015

Superior Dragon  Reared at the start and lost ground. Raced wide and hung out for the majority of the race.

Zacarias  Slow to begin. Shifted in of its own accord near the 800m and made contact with the running rail and became unbalanced. Became unbalanced when crowded for room by SWISS MADEMOISELLE, which shifted in near the 500m. T. Williams, rider of SWISS MADEMOISELLE, was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances.

Bekanntes  Stewards questioned J. Byrne in relation to the horse's disappointing performance. He said that the horse travelled well throughout the race, however on a number of occasions during the event wanted to change legs. He could offer no explanation for the performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Trainer R. Heathcote was at a loss to explain the poor performance and advised stewards that he would consult with his stable veterinarian and notify stewards should anything come to light that may have had an effect on the performance. Mustang Jack  Became fractious in the barriers and put its head down as the start was effected and lost considerable ground, and then was further hampered by Superior Dragon, which reared and shifted out, losing ground.

Destiva  Began awkwardly and bumped the barriers partition. Bumped and became unbalanced near the 800m. Hung out from the 700m and bumped another runner on a number of occasions nearing the 400m. A post race veterinary examination revealed a very poor post race recovery and mild heat stress. Pantheress  Apprentice L. Dittman reported that after travelling well to the home turn outside the lead he thought the horse was a competitive chance in the race, however when asked for a response, weakened badly in the home straight and felt the horse may have been awkward in its action in front. Landale  When questioned regarding the performance of the gelding, rider Ryan Maloney explained that his mount over raced in the early and middle stages and failed to run on when placed under pressure in the straight.
