Campionessa  Raced wide throughout. Inquiry re poor performance. Rider advised that the mare failed to show its customary speed today and was obliged to obtain a position off the pace which was in contrast to the horse's established racing pattern. She added it failed to travel strongly throughout the event and when placed under pressure failed to respond to her riding. She said the mare raced flat today and attributed this to it not backing up from its most recent start. Vetted with no abnormalites detected.   Toowoomba  30/05/2015 
Cash In  A pre-race veterinary examination of the horse which shifted a plate en route to the track cleared it to race. CASHED IN underwent a further examination at the barriers and was cleared to start.

Pure Intelligence  Began very awkwardly and lost ground. When asked to comment on the performance,K. Wharton stated that the horse jumped away awkwardly and was positioned at the tail of the field, and whilst he had not been issued instructions, he had anticipated settling more forward. He added that when placed under pressure the horse carried its head very high and raced greenly and shifted both in and out. He added that, in his view, the horse would benefit from the step up in distance and had recommended to connections to experiment with the addition of either blinkers or winkers.   Sunshine Coast  6/06/2015

Moe's Tavern  A post race veterinary examination revealed a small amount of blood in its near-side nostril and the horse was stepping short in its near hind leg. Connections were advised that a veterinary clearance must be provided prior to its next race start and the gelding must gallop over 1000m before being permitted to race again.

Legal Counsel  Rider M. Cahill reported that the horse laid in under pressure in the early stages of the home straight. He indicated he did not feel the horse stretched out over the final 200m.
