Mishani Phoenix  Slow into stride. When questioned regarding the horse's performance, apprentice J. Guthmann-Chester stated after receiving instructions he expected the gelding to show early speed, however after beginning well the gelding was unable to muster early speed, but once placed under pressure leaving the 600m, commenced to find the line well and in his opinion will be much better suited over a longer distance than that of today's event. Canny Excel  When questioned regarding the performance of the gelding apprentice Ms B. Ainsworth stated that she intended to settle in a handy position however her mount was caught wide in the early stages and she elected to ease and take a position worse than midfield with cover. Ms Ainsworth stated that her mount likes to work into a sprint however it had its momentum hampered at the entrance to the straight and near the 200m when it was disappointed for runs. Ms Ainsworth added that her mount was first up today, would benefit from the run and would appreciate resuming its normal racing pattern.  Murwillumbah  3/01/2016

Streloven  Stewards accepted the explanation for B. Stower replacing J. Orman as the rider of the horse. Laid in in the home straight and near the 100m was steadied from the heels of LISTANERA, which shifted out marginally. Raced wide throughout.  Toowoomba  9/01/2016 
Superstition  Connections advised the horse will be ridden further back in the field if circumstances permit. The horse was ridden accordingly.  Gold Coast  12/09/2015 
Taillevent  Hung out after leaving the 800m and continued to do so for the remainder of the event. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities. Trainer B. Punters Journey  Became very unbalanced approaching the 800m and lost ground quickly, causing interference to a number of runners. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings.  Sunshine Coast  3/05/2015
