Jockey was asked to explain his tactics in that he positioned the horse towards the rear of the field when the horse has an established racing pattern of racing on the speed. He indicated that he had intended to go forward, however runners to his inside showed early speed and he was unable to cross and therefore elected to steady to secure a position closer to the fence. Jockey added that in his view the horse did not handle the rain-affected conditions. |

Raced ungenerously throughout after getting its tongue over the bit in running. Trainer advised Stewards that the filly would race in a tongue tie at future starts. Nonetheless trainer was advised that a warning would be placed on the filly and should it perform similarly at its next start it would be required to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards. A post-race veterinary examination of the filly failed to reveal any abnormalities. Trainer has since reported to Stewards that the filly has been working well in a tongue control bit.
