Dramatic Saga  Began very awkwardly, lost ground. Questioned re performance - rider stated after beginning awkwardly filly overraced when forced to settle at the back of the field. Nonetheless, dissapointed in overall performance. Rider thought filly may be better suited when stepped back in distance and allowed to settle in a truly run race. Beg Pardon  When questioned in relation to riding tactics Jockey advised that after being fractious in the barriers and slowly away he allowed his mount to settle in a rearward position. He added that he travelled wide in the middle stages as he believed the inside going was inferior. He further stated he did not ride the gelding along in the downhill section of the track as he felt it would become unbalanced in the going and for this reason he allowed it to straighten and balance up before placing it under pressure and finishing strongly. Cheval Argente  Was kicked by another runner in the enclosure. Then underwent a veterinary examination and was passed fit to start.  Atherton  20/06/2015 
Comic Ruler  Stewards questioned Jockey regarding his riding over the concluding stages. He said that shortly after straightening he shifted his mount to the outside to obtain clear running, however from this point the gelding failed to respond to his riding and was disappointing. Nevertheless, Jockey was advised to ride his mounts out fully to the finish.
