He said that after passing the 1400 metres when runners to his outside improved, he elected to restrain his mount where it commenced to over-race. However after being crossed the gelding settled. Trainer confirmed the instructions issued, however was reminded of her obligation to inform stewards of any proposed change in tactics. |
