Raced towards the rear of the field for the majority of the event despite the best efforts of the rider to improve. Jky R Tilley reported to stewards after being slow out and tightened after the start the horse was reluctant to improve despite his best efforts to do so. He acknowledged the gelding was doing his best work over the final stages of the race. Stewards noted Jky Tilley’s comments.
