Stewards sought a comment from Trainer Ms. A Sweeney in relation to the seemingly disappointing performance. Ms. Sweeney advised that once the gelding made contact with the gates at the start he failed to improve into the race. Ms Sweeney’s comments were noted by Stewards. A post- race veterinary examination was undertaken and with no abnormalities being detected.
