He added that in his opinion the pace was only moderate in the early stages and as a consequence he was trapped wide without cover for most of the event and was unable to obtain cover. He further stated notwithstanding the fact he was unable to obtain his preferred position in running, the filly responded in a respectable manner but did not finish the race off in its normal manner. |
