Chin Chun  A veterinary inspection immediately following the race revealed that the horse was displaying an irregular heart rhythm and had bled from both nostrils. Before being allowed to race again will be required to perform satisfactorily in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.  Happy Valley  13/01/2016

Lupo Nero  Ridden forward to the lead in today's event. Trainer K. Clark-Peoples was fined $200 for failing to notify stewards in accordance with AR. 135A of the intention to have the horse ridden in a manner different from the manner in which it has been ridden at recent starts. Stewards also questioned Mrs Clark-Peoples in relation to the horse's improved performance and she indicated that she was somewhat surprised with the forward showing today and indicated that if the horse had performed poorly again today, it was the stable's intention to consider its future racing program.  Sunshine Coast  10/07/2016

Sea Red  Slow to begin. R. Fradd reported at scale that his mount did not respond to his riding when placed under pressure in the straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the horse to be sore in both forelegs. Trainer R. Heathcote was advised that he will be required to produce a veterinary clearance for the horse prior to its next start. Steve's Surprise  Regarding performance.Rider stated his mount settled outside the leader early stages,near the 1200m runners improved to his outside, rather than challenge for lead, elected to take a sit to ensure his mount would run out the 1400m.Further that rounding the home turn was very confident chances however near the 250m was obliged to ease for a number of strides when disappointed for a run. Added that near the 200m his mount was further inconvenienced when hampered by another runner. Also was disadvantaged by the fact it was not afforded a clear run to the line.   Grafton  17/07/2016

Adorabeel (NZ)  Bumped rounding home turn. Rider questioned re tactics adopted, particularly as to the reasons why she elected to improve when in a trailing position. Stated she allowed gelding to stride forward in an attempt to position outside the leader but was unable to do so when HI SON held its position, which resulted in her racing in a 3 wide position. Rider advised that in similar circumstances she would be expected to use more initiative than she had on this occasion.   Doomben  9/07/2016 
Bewhatyouwannabe  Approaching 200m attempted to improve to the outside of heels and made contact with another runner on a number of occasions. Taken in near the 100m when improving to the inside of HARADA BAY and as a result made contact with another runner.   Doomben  9/07/2016 
Feltre  Trainer's explaination re improved performance - stated the horse has drawn bad barriers at its most recent starts and as a result has been forced to race wide. Dandy One  J. Morris could offer no excuses for the gelding's disappointing performance. . A post-race veterinary examination revealed no significant findings. Trainer L. Frequendly  Shifted in at start making contact with MISERY and then shifted out making heavy contact with ALWAYS SACRED. Trainer L. Ross was questioned regarding the improved performance.
