When asked for a comment on the improved performance, trainer L Horstman stated that FANCY LEGEND had derived significant benefit from its most recent start and in today’s event was able to obtain a soft, unchallenged lead. Trainer Horstman further added that the drop down in class in today’s event proved beneficial to the mare’s overall chances and the stable were expecting an improved performance. Stewards noted the comments.
