When questioned, rdr std although having to cross from a wide barrier to settle outside the lead, he did not feel he had to unduly pressure his mnt to do so. Std mnt came under pressure soon after passing the 600m and then gave ground in the straight after failing to respond to his riding, and in his view, due to its inexperience, may have found the rise in class beyond it but it would improve with more racing experience. A post-race vet exam revealed no abnormalities.

He said due to this he did not place the filly under full pressure until passing the 300m. Tnr reported on return to stable blood was found at one nostril. Tnr was advised provisons of AR79(8). Cleared to race.
