When questioned regarding his riding, rider explained he was instructed to take up a forward position on the gelding which has a tendency to lay in. Rdr stated he was happy with where his mount settled outside the leader and travelled comfortable throughout, however when placed under pressure in the straight the gelding hung in severely making it difficult for him to ride out in his normal manner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Warning issued
