When asked about performance, Rdr stated mount jumped and travelled well, however when under pressure in home straight did not respond-said had ridden gelding in 2 recent trials, however; had not had to extend the gelding & this may have had a bearing on 1st up performance-added gelding had also shown a keenness to proceed to the barriers, however; had no concerns with how it arrived at barriers & did not require any vet assessment. A post-race vet exam revealed no abs. Trnr reported no abnormalities identified in the following days.
