Duorosa  Had difficulty securing clear running from the 200m to the 100m. L. Rolls reported that the horse began only fairly today and from the wide draw he elected to restrain when runners inside kicked up ahead of him. Hula Girl  Had to be steadied at the entrance to the home straight when
attempting to obtain a run on the outside of Don't Tell Linda (G Ryan),
which shifted out under pressure when not quite clear. G Ryan was asked
to exercise more care. Then passing the 100m Hula Girl shifted out under
pressure and contacted Blinkin Elle.

Oriental Lady (GER)  M. Cahill reported at scale that in his opinion the mare was not suited by the slow tempo in the early stages of the race. Trainer K. Love Shuttle  Trainer T. Edmonds was questioned regarding the improved performance. He stated, in his opinion, the mare did not handle the patchy track at Ipswich at its previous start, and also that he believed the step up in distance from 1200m to 1350m may have benefitted the mare. Pienkna  Raced extremely wide throughout. T. Harrison was questioned regarding her riding in the early stages. She stated that she had been instructed to ride the filly quieter today, however she was unable to gain cover and therefore she was obliged to race wide throughout. Trainer T. Gollan explained that from the wide draw he was concerned with the significant amount of speed of other runners drawn to his inside and for this reason he instructed his rider to “come out neutral” rather than be involved in a speed battle and get caught wide.  Doomben  11/04/2015 
Sarisara  Questioned re improved performance - Trainer not overly disappointed with filly's previous start where it raced further back in the field than anticipated. I'm Imposing (GB)  Which was inclined to overrace, had to be restrained off the heels of
Kermadec near the 1000m Leaving the 600m, when endeavour to improve to the outside of
Kermadec, shifted out and bumped World Ace.

Miss Cover Girl  When questioned concerning the filly leading today, G Boss stated his
mount jumped well and, as he assessed that no one appeared to be taking the initiative to go
forward, he allowed his mount to stride forward and cross. The Stewards confirmed with
trainer Mr K Schweida that the expectation had been that Miss Cover Girl would race behind
the pace, which is its normal pattern.
