King Willem  When questioned as to the horse's performance, jockey Morris stated that the gelding was slow to muster speed in the early stages despite his efforts and as a result raced further back in the field than anticipated. He added that when placed under pressure passing the 400m the gelding responded and finished the race off well. Jockey Morris further added that in his opinion the gelding would be better suited over further distances than that of today's event.  Beaudesert  28/12/2015

Lord Lonhro  Rider questioned re. tactics he stated the horse did not begin as it had in the past and after travelling a short distance felt he would not have been able to muster sufficient speed in order to hold the horse out which was racing to the outside. He therefore elected to take hold and, in his view, was satisfied that the horse was comfortable travelling with clear running, however he was forced wider near the 700m and LORD LONHRO did not finish the race off as he anticipated. Skating Away  Jockey J. Byrne was asked to comment on the performance of his mount. He indicated that the horse was not suited to the steady pace set in the middle stages. He also added that near the 800m he had considered shifting the horse wider and improving outside the leader, however did not wish to expose the mare without cover too early in the event, and indicated the steady pace in the event had a detrimental effect on his horse's finishing effort as it failed to quicken entering the home straight.   Sunshine Coast  12/07/2015

Bletchy Boy  Commenced to overrace and race ungenerously leaving the 800m and shifted out. BRADBURY'S QUEST improved quickly to the inside of that runner which then for a short distance continued to overrace and improved on to heels and when being steadied shifted back in resulting in BRADBURY'S QUEST being checked. Superior Dragon  Jockey R. Fradd reported that the gelding was slow to begin and as a result was obliged to settle further back than anticipated. He added that as a consequence he was forced to make a wide run from the 500m and the gelding then peaked on its run over the concluding stages, but nonetheless he was disappointed in its overall performance. We're Ready  Rider questioned re horse's performance. He said after leaving the 600m he was unable to improve and lost ground when positioned on the back of NEAR THE CITY. He added that passing the 400m he was able to shift out and improve, at which point the gelding was only able to finish the race off fairly and in his opinion was somewhat disappointing. Jockey Stewart further added that connections had indicated that the gelding would be given a freshen up prior to its next start. Trainer J. Pritchard stated that she would attempt to place the gelding in races over further distances in future.  Beaudesert  28/12/2015
