She said to obtain cover she had to settle further back than anticipated. She further added that upon straightening the filly failed to quicken as expected and proved reluctant to improve between runners. She also stated that over the concluding stages she had some difficulty obtaining clear running but she was still disappointed in the performance. She said the stable said the filly would now most likely be sent for a spell.

Stewards asked jockey M. Cahill to comment on the performance of the horse. He indicated he had been instructed to ride the filly in a more forward position and despite riding very vigorously during the first 150m, the horse could not muster sufficient speed to cross runners to the inside, and when in a position 4 wide passing the 1300m he elected to steady in an attempt to secure a position a position closer to the fence. He added he was obliged to take a position further back than he would have liked. Trainer reported that the filly would now be sent for a spell.
