Apprentice S. Blunt reported that her intentions were to position her mount in the second half of the field. She added after obtaining a position with cover passing the winning post on the first occasion, she was placed at a distinct disadvantage when not being able to see runners in front of her due to the kick back from the track. She further added that after hearing a call from another rider approaching the turn out of the straight, she steadied her mount, which as a result lost ground and raced at the tail of the field. S.
