Vivid Imagination  Forced to steady to avoid heels of another runner near the 200m and laid in from that point. When questioned regarding the disappointing performance, rider B. Roubaix  When questioned re reason for ROUBAIX shifting out rounding home turn and in early part home straight, which resulted in the eventual winner obtaining a run to the inside of ROUBAIX, rider stated that when DIDDY WIN DIDDY was hanging out rounding home turn and he was racing outside of that runner ROUBAIX also commenced to hang out and continued to do so soon after straightening, which necessitated him changing whip to left hand. Igneous  Began awkwardly, made heavy contact with another runner becoming baldly unbalanced. Rider stated got further back than expected and was obliged to race in restricted room for some distance approaching the first turn.Had to be steadied when awkwardly placed between runners. Hidrifter (NZ)  Near the 500m had to be steadied when awkwardly placed at the heels of COMANDO BATTAGLIA. Steadied after improving onto the heels of the tiring PSENTINGOW approaching the 200m.  Ipswich  16/10/2015

Perfectly Aligned  Appr S Lacey was questioned regarding the riding tactics on Perfectly Aligned, which raced in a very rearward position in the early and middle stages. Appr Lacey said that her instructions we were to settle last as the gelding raced best that way. Appr Lacey added that the horse worked home strongly and made up considerable ground. Trainer B. Johnson confirmed that his instructions were to ride the horse in that manner.  Roma  17/10/2015
