When asked re tactics, particularly in middle stages, Rdr stated instructed to settle back in field, which is consistent with its’ racing pattern-said mare, after beginning fairly, was reluctant to muster early speed & settled several lengths behind the body of the field in the middle stages-further stated approaching h/turn, mare then improved before finishing off the event. Whilst noting Rdr's comments, advised would be expected demonstrates greater vigor in order to maintain contact with body of the field.

When quest re improved perf. tnr stated early indications were mare was a middle distance/distance horse & he had trained & raced her accordingly. Tnr stated mare been settling in fwd posn's with relative ease but not sustaining a finishing effort. Tnr stated last start mare got further back than he anticipated & surprised at how well it found line. Tnr stated he dropped back in dist today with expectation race would be run at genuine tempo which would allow mare to settle with cover & sustain a finishing effort. Tnr stated this came to fruition today.
