Nonetheless Trainer was advised that the mare would be required to successfully complete one barrier trial prior to being permitted to race again. Lost it's off hind plate in the running.

Was slowly away after jumping awkwardly with its head in the air. On returning to the saddling enclosure the gelding was found to have bled from both nostrils in running. Stewards acting under the provisions of AR.53A.(4)(b) advised Trainer that the gelding would not be permitted to start in any race for a period of three months, and would be required to gallop 1000 metres to the satisfaction of stewards prior to racing.
