When quest re perf. rdr stated mount began only fairly from outside barrier & he elected to obtain cover at rear of small field. Rdr stated he shifted mount 3 wide passing 800m so as to work fwd, when required, appreciating moderate tempo of event to that point. Rdr stated mount was under full pressure app 500m & commenced to weaken shortly after straightening. Rdr stated mount raced like a tired horse & he did not overly test it down straight when beaten. Tnr advised mare pulled up well in days subsequent & she would continue its prep. P/R vet no ab's.
