Was slow to begin. On returning to scale jockey asked to view the patrol film in relation to having his mount be declared a non - runner on the basis that his mounts barrier gate failed to open. After taking evidence from the jockey and viewing the stewards patrol film. Stewards were of the opinion that the barrier gate was marginally slow to open however bearing in mind the minor ground lost at the start the mare was declared a runner. |
