A post-race vet examination was ordered by Stewards this examination revealed that although the horse was not lame, it was reluctant to stretch out normally when being trotted up. Stewards spoke with Trainer Mr M Kropp who gave an undertaking to notify Stewards should the condition of the mare deteriorate in coming days.
