Alfie Junior  Jumped away awkwardly and then shifted out abruptly and lost considerable ground. Trainer P. Duff was advised that the gelding must trial satisfactorily prior to its next race start due to its pre race and barrier manners.

Elite Hong Kong  A post-race veterinary examination revealed the colt, which weakened in the straight, to be showing signs of tying-up. Trainer Mr S Singleton was told that he must provide a veterinary clearance prior to being permitted to race again.   Goulburn  2/12/2014

La Cigale  Inconvenienced shortly after the start when crowded between runners. Then raced 4 wide throughout without cover.

Sakitto  Rider questioned re performance reported his intention was to settle in the second half of the field behind SUPERFAST SAKI however, COURT'S STAR improved to his inside in the early stages which forced him to settle further back in the field than anticipated. Rider added that he was able to shift wider in an effort to improve passing the 600m however, the filly was only travelling fairly and failed to finish the race off as expected. Rider and stable expressed disappointment but unable to offer any explanation. Vetted - no abnormalities and swab sample taken.  Gold Coast  9/05/2015

Hidden Road  Trainer questioned re improved performance stated the gelding failed to settle and race comfortably when ridden at its previous start and as a result weakened over the concluding stages. Mr Pollock added that with the addition of pacifiers and the removal of winkers the gelding travelled comfortably in the lead and was able to finish off the race better than it did at its last start.  Gold Coast  16/05/2015

Magic Sam  Steadied when placed in restricted room on straightening. When questioned as to the overall performance, jockey J. Byrne stated that despite travelling comfortably during the early and middle stages the gelding failed to respond when it was placed under pressure upon straightening and proved disappointing. One Lucky Sheila  Finished tailed off. S. Fawke indicated that he had been instructed to ride in a forward position with cover if possible, however when caught wide passing the 1600m he elected to allow the mare to assume the lead and felt that the horse set a steady tempo throughout the race and in his view was disappointing when asked for an effort in the home straight. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Connections indicated that the horse may be sent for a spell.  Sunshine Coast  11/01/2015 
So Ridiculous  Slow to begin. Trainer B. Gill was questioned regarding the improved performance of the horse. He indicated it appreciated the step up in distance to 1600m of today's event, and at the horse's most recent start had been forced to race wide and had hung out after the 600m when improving into the event. He indicated that for this reason he had engaged a left-handed whip rider and was of the view that this had a beneficial effect on the performance.   Sunshine Coast  1/02/2015
