Moe's Tavern  Bumped shortly after the start. Rider questioned re disappointing performance - stated gelding was unable to muster necessary speed in early stages to take up forward position. Did not travel comfortably at any stage on today's track conditions and in his opinion was better suited to a firmer track. War Hammer  Shifted in and bumped another runner near the 500m. J. Taylor reported that in his opinion the horse would be better suited settling further back in the field and that he had made a recommendation to connections to remove the blinkers for the horse's next start. Trainer R. Wilson agreed with the comments of J. Taylor. Subsequent to this event R Wilson reported that the horse had significant nasal discharge and would undergo treatment for a virus. Night Rituals  Began awkwardly and bumped another runner. Steadied from heels rounding the home turn. Raced wide for the majority of the race. Rider J. Byrne advised stewards his intention was to ride the horse in a forward manner however after beginning awkwardly was unable to improve forward and raced wide throughout, which was a telling factor on the horse's performance.

Storm Fighter  A post race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have jarred up.  Gold Coast  8/10/2014 
Tragedy  Rider L. Dittman explained that from the wide draw his intention was to be midfield with cover if possible. He said he began best and it became apparent early on no runners to his inside appeared intent on leading, so he elected to stride forward and cross to the lead despite his instructions. After doing this he endeavoured to steady the tempo however his saddle shifted forward and as he was reluctant to fight the gelding he felt obliged to let it run along at a moderate tempo in front.   Ipswich  20/05/2015
