Pirandello  Beaten by 49 lengths. Rider explained that it travelled well, however when asked for an effort, never handled the very heavy track and weakened noticeably. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Rep stated that gelding had been disappointing this campaign and consideration would be given to his immediate racing future. Favoured Grace  For some distance in the straight was continually shifted wider to obtain clear running, and then over the concluding stages had some difficulty in being fully tested and at the finish line was tightened for room and had to be checked. Buakaw  Disappointed for a run when attempting to shift out to improve near the 500m and as a result was held up at the heels of a tiring runner and lost ground. Improved on to the heels of another runner near the 1300m and lost ground. Jockey K Yoshida reported that as a result of meeting interference on two occasions during the event his mount was shuffled further back in the field then he had anticipated in running however when able to obtain clear running in the home straight ran on fairly.  Warwick  10/10/2015

Bold Attraction  Had to be checked near the 800m. Restrained from heels when the pace slackened approaching the 600m. Held up for clear running rounding the home turn and again held up for short distance passing the 100m.  Doomben  4/12/2015 
Caillebotte (IRE)  A short distance after leaving the 600m was unable to improve when placed in restricted room between SECRET TRYST and ROYAL STANDING. Upon straightening had to be steadied when tightened for room between ROYAL STANDING and SECRET TRYST, which shifted out  Gold Coast  12/12/2015

Martial Art  Jockey D. Browne reported at scale his mount pulled hard and would not settle and may not have appreciated the step up to 1600m. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities.

Unbowed  When questioned regarding the riding tactics adopted today which were in contrast to the gelding's most recent start when it led, apprentice Fancourt stated she had similar instructions today as she had in previous starts, which was to obtain cover, however the circumstances of the race at its last resulted in the horse obtaining the lead.
