When questioned regarding the performance, apprentice Mitch Goring advised that MISHANI REACTOR was first up from a short spell and is better suited over longer distances. Apprentice Goring added that, after racing wide for the majority, the gelding failed to let down when asked for an effort in the finishing stages. He further added that the firm racing surface may have been a contributing factor to the gelding’s overall performance.

App stated he only placed mount under limited pressure over final 200m for fear something was amiss. A post-race veterinary examination of the gelding revealed it was lame near the near hind leg (2/5). Vet clearance required PTNS.
