When questioned regarding the tactics S Thornton explained that she urged her mount forward in the early stages, however, was caught wide without cover and for this reason led. She added that the filly hung out rounding the home turn and in the straight and gave ground when under pressure. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any obvious abnormality.
