After being slow to begin, got its head up and gave ground. Stable representative advised that the mare was racing with the addition of a nose roll. He stated that mare appeared to resent the gear and that the stable would remove it prior to the mare’s next race start. Stable rep was advised a warning would be recorded against the mare for being slow to begin.
