Stewards questioned apprentice regarding her riding from the 500 metres where the eventual winner was able to improve to her inside. Apprentice stated that her mount was inclined to lay out rounding the tight turning track however concurred with stewards that she should have made a greater effort to remain racing one off the fence. Stewards were also mindful of apprentice's relative inexperience. |
