Experienced a float breakdown en route to the course, examined by the veterinary surgeon on arrival at the track and passed fit to start. Shifted in abruptly at the start, dislodging its rider. Prior to being recaptured by the Clerk of the Course DATASTAR jumped the outside fence at the 1800m chute, left the racecourse precinct and galloped for a significant distance before being recaptured. A post-race veterinary examination revealed minor abrasions.
