When questioned regarding the tactics adopted today rider stated she was instructed to ride her mount forward and settle in the lead if possible. Trainer confirmed that the instructions given today were consistent with this preparation, but last start it knuckled soon after the start and settled further back at the Sapphire Coast on the 3rd of May 2020. Trainer was reminded of the obligation to inform the stewards of the change of tactics regarding the gelding having settled further forward today.
