When questioned as the improved performance, Jockey C Eaton, who rode the filly at it’s only other race start, reported that on that occasion the filly raced greenly and settled towards the tail of the field at a venue suited to horses which race on the pace. She added that with the race experience from that event the filly travelled far more tractably today which she felt was the major reason for the improved performance.
