Rdr stated mount travelled fairly from this point however peaked on run at 200m & weakened to line. Rdr stated mount made an abnormal respiratory noise on pulling up. Tnr confirmed geld is roarer which is managed with tongue tie. Tnr stated manner in which geld was obliged to race was to its detriment. P/R vet exam revealed resp noise consistent with roarer.

Bumped on jumping. Rdr std instr to race prominently & after beginning well rode mount with vigour, however did not show sufficient speed to cross & was left racing wide and without cover. Std geld never travelled well & as obliged to ride it along throughout middle stgs to maintain position, before it compounded from 600m. Added could offer no explanation, other than geld did not appreciate the undulating track. Post-race vet exam of geld, which was beaten 37L - no abnormalities. Trainer advised geld had worked well leading into race & was at a loss to explain performance. Must trial PTNRS.
